The concert was electric, filled with the deafening roar of fans and the synchronized beat of BTS’s latest song. The members were in their element, their precise choreography and charismatic energy commanding every inch of the stage. Jimin’s voice soared above the music, his movements sharp and fluid as the lights glittered around them.
Jimin had always loved performing, the stage his second home. But tonight, something felt off. As the group launched into another song, Jimin’s sharp eyes caught a flicker of movement above the stage. His gaze darted upward, and his heart sank.
A massive stage screen, suspended just above where Suga was rapping, swayed unnaturally. The mounting bolts seemed loose, and with every vibration of the bass, it shifted more precariously.
“Hyung…” Jimin muttered, his voice drowned out by the booming music.
He glanced at Suga, who was lost in the rhythm of his verse, completely unaware of the danger overhead. Jimin waved his hand subtly, trying not to alarm the crowd, but Suga didn’t see him. Panic rose in Jimin’s chest as the screen wobbled again.
He couldn’t risk shouting—it would only cause chaos. Instead, Jimin moved closer to Suga, signaling more frantically now. His heart pounded as the screen gave an audible creak.
“Move!” Jimin finally shouted, breaking formation and running toward Suga. The music blared, and Suga still didn’t hear him.
The screen shifted, tilting forward. Time seemed to slow as Jimin sprinted, adrenaline flooding his veins. Just as the screen began to fall, Jimin threw himself forward, shoving Suga out of the way.
The impact came faster than he anticipated. The edge of the screen slammed into his leg, pinning him to the ground with a sickening thud. Pain exploded in his shin, radiating up his body as gasps rippled through the audience.
The music cut off abruptly, replaced by the sound of staff shouting and fans screaming in panic.
“Jimin!” Suga’s voice was sharp, filled with disbelief as he scrambled to his feet and turned around. His eyes widened in horror at the sight of Jimin trapped beneath the screen.
The other members rushed to them, their faces pale with shock. RM and Jin knelt beside Jimin, while Jungkook and Taehyung hovered anxiously.
“Don’t move him yet,” Jin said firmly, his voice trembling but steady. “We need the staff to lift this first.”
“I’m fine,” Jimin whispered, his voice tight with pain. “Just… make sure the fans are okay.”
“You’re not fine,” Suga snapped, kneeling beside him. His hands hovered uselessly, unsure of what to do. “Why didn’t you call out earlier? Why did you—”
Jimin managed a faint smile despite the agony coursing through him. “Didn’t want you to get hurt, hyung.”
Suga’s mouth pressed into a thin line, his guilt evident in the way his eyes darted to Jimin’s pinned leg.
The staff worked quickly, lifting the screen enough for Jimin to be carefully pulled free. His leg was already swelling, the fabric of his pants torn and bloodstained.
“We need a medic!” RM shouted, his leader instincts kicking in as he helped the staff clear the stage.
The fans were frantic, many crying as they called out Jimin’s name. Jin grabbed a microphone, addressing the audience with as much calm as he could muster.
“Please stay calm,” he said. “Jimin is being taken care of, and we’ll keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding.”
The other members followed as the medics wheeled Jimin backstage. Suga stayed closest, his hand gripping Jimin’s tightly.
