The practice room of TREASURE was alive with energy, the thrum of bass vibrating through the air, but in the center of it all, Hyunsuk stood quietly, staring at his reflection in the mirrored wall. His face, usually sharp with determination, now looked worn, almost hollow. His eyes were heavy with exhaustion, a dullness that hadn't been there a few months ago. The pressure of being the leader, the one everyone relied on, was starting to take its toll.

It wasn't that Hyunsuk hated his role. On the contrary, he loved his members more than anything and he loves his role of being the mother of the group. They were his family, his little brothers. But the weight of responsibility was a constant presence. The leader was supposed to be the one who kept everything in balance—the one who pushed the group forward, who made sure everything ran smoothly. The one who took care of his members when they needed it.

But who took care of him when he was falling apart?

Lately, it seemed like no one had noticed how tired he was. Or maybe they had, but they didn't know how to help. Hyunsuk had always been the strong one—the one who could handle it all, no matter how much pressure he was under. He was the one who made sure the younger members ate, made sure the team stayed organized, made sure their schedules were in order. He was the glue that held the group together, and he couldn't let them see how much it was breaking him.

"Hyunsuk-hyung, are you okay?" Jihoon's voice broke through his thoughts, pulling him back to the present.

Hyunsuk blinked and turned to look at his younger bandmate, who was watching him closely with a concerned expression. Jihoon had always been perceptive, and Hyunsuk could never hide anything from him.

"I'm fine," Hyunsuk said with a forced smile, brushing off the concern. "Just a little tired."

Jihoon raised an eyebrow, not buying it. "A little tired? Hyunsuk-hyung, you've been running on empty for days. You look like you haven't slept properly in weeks."

Hyunsuk opened his mouth to protest, but the words caught in his throat. He had been running on adrenaline for far too long. His mind was always racing, always thinking about what had to be done next. Rehearsals, promotions, schedules—there was always something. He hadn't had a full night of sleep in ages. He'd stayed up late planning, organizing, checking in on the members, making sure everything was in order. It was like a never-ending cycle that he couldn't break free from.

But he couldn't tell Jihoon that. He couldn't admit how worn out he was.

"I'm really fine," Hyunsuk said again, more softly this time.

Jihoon didn't seem convinced. He crossed his arms and gave Hyunsuk a long, thoughtful look. "You've been like this for weeks, Hyung. You're the leader, but you don't have to carry everything on your own. You need to rest."

Hyunsuk sighed and leaned against the mirror, feeling the weight of his words. "I don't have time to rest, Jihoon. There's too much to do. We've got the album promotions coming up, and the younger members need me. I can't just... stop."

"You're not a machine, Hyung," Jihoon said firmly, his tone softening. "You've been pushing yourself too hard. I can see it. We all can. But you can't keep going like this."

Hyunsuk wanted to argue, to tell Jihoon that he had to be strong for the group, but he couldn't. Jihoon was right. The pressure was wearing him thin, and he didn't know how much longer he could keep up the facade.

"Just let me take care of things for a little while," Jihoon said, stepping closer. "You've been running yourself into the ground. It's time for you to rest."

Hyunsuk blinked, taken aback by Jihoon's words. He opened his mouth to protest, but Yoshi, who had been quietly listening from the corner of the room, spoke up.
