The busy streets of Seoul were as loud as always—horns honking, people rushing about, and the hum of life in the bustling capital of South Korea. Eunsoek, the visual of RIIZE, was no stranger to the chaos of the city. It was familiar to him now, even though the path from the SM Entertainment building to his car was a relatively short one. He had learned to navigate these streets quickly, a mix of excitement and wariness in his heart, always knowing that the fans who gathered outside the building were there to support him, to cheer him on.

That day, however, something felt off. The air was thick with tension, almost suffocating. Eunsoek, ever the professional, smiled and waved at the crowd as he made his way through the mass of people. His smile, however, faltered slightly as his eyes scanned the banners and signs being held up by the fans. They were not the usual words of encouragement that made him feel proud of his role as a rising idol. Instead, these banners carried a much darker message: "Kun is Number 1, Change Your Face, Eunsoek."

A chill ran down his spine, but he shook it off, telling himself that the fans meant no harm. After all, there was always a small minority of people who became obsessed with certain idols. He had heard the rumors online, the whispers about his visual similarity to Kun from WayV. He knew the fans had started comparing him to his senior idol, even calling him Kun's "little twin." Eunsoek had always taken it as a compliment, but now, seeing the banners, it felt like something more sinister.

The fans’ intent was no longer to simply show affection or admiration; they were demanding something from him. Change. Something in his appearance had to be different to distinguish him from Kun.

Eunsoek tried to ignore the uneasy feeling in his gut as he continued walking, but the sense of impending danger lingered in the air, wrapping around him like an invisible chain.

The first rock struck him without warning. The impact was sharp, hard, and sent a jolt of pain through his body as it collided with his shoulder. His balance faltered for a moment, and he stumbled, his breath catching in his throat. The sound of laughter and shouts from the fans filled the air, but they weren’t supportive or encouraging. They were mocking him, jeering him as if he had somehow done something wrong.

Eunsoek froze for a moment, unable to comprehend what had just happened. His mind raced. Why? Why were they throwing rocks? Why was this happening to him? His heart raced as the second stone came, striking him across the chest. The pain was sharp, but it wasn’t just physical—it was the emotional weight of the attack, the realization that these fans, the people who were supposed to support him, were now targeting him.

More stones came. He raised his arms to shield himself, but it was futile. Each rock felt heavier than the last, each one more deliberate in its aim. His vision blurred from the pain and the confusion. He tried to cry out for help, but the crowd was too loud, too overwhelming.

Before he could do anything, another rock hit him in the head—a solid, brutal blow that sent his world spinning. His legs gave way, and with a sickening thud, Eunsoek’s body crumpled to the ground, unconscious. His last thought before he lost consciousness was a desperate, helpless plea. Why me?

For five agonizing minutes, Eunsoek lay on the ground, his limp body becoming the target of an unrelenting assault. Stones continued to rain down on him, each one striking his fragile body with a sickening thud. The crowd showed no sign of stopping. The attack was relentless, calculated, and cruel.

But then, the chaos suddenly stopped.

A familiar voice rang out through the crowd, demanding an end to the violence. "Stop it right now!"

Kun, WayV’s respected leader and senior idol, had just finished his hectic schedule and was heading back to the SM building. As he walked closer, he saw the crowd gathered around Eunsoek, but what stopped him in his tracks was the sight of his unconscious junior lying motionless on the ground. His heart stopped in his chest. It took him only a second to understand what was happening.
