Beomgyu leaned his forehead against the cool glass of the van's window, watching the city lights blur into streaks. The weight of the day hung heavy on his shoulders. Long hours of filming, interviews, and rehearsals had left him drained, but it was more than physical exhaustion gnawing at him—it was the constant feeling of being watched.

It had started subtly, with fan letters that seemed normal at first. But then came the ones that stood out, chillingly detailed in their observations.

"You looked so cute in that striped hoodie at the café this morning. I was sitting a few tables away, but you didn't notice me."

"You shouldn't walk alone after practice. There are dangerous people out there. Stay safe for me, okay?"

Beomgyu had laughed nervously when the first few arrived, brushing them off as overly enthusiastic fans. But as the letters became more frequent, describing places he'd been and outfits he'd worn in alarming detail, the pit in his stomach deepened.

He hadn't told the members how much it was affecting him. He didn't want to burden them or appear paranoid. Instead, he tried to shake it off, but the lingering unease followed him everywhere.

The van pulled to a stop outside the dorm, and the members shuffled out, yawning and stretching after the long day.

"Beomgyu, you coming?" Soobin called over his shoulder.

"You guys go ahead. I need a minute," Beomgyu replied, managing a weak smile.

Soobin hesitated, his leader instincts flaring, but eventually nodded and followed the others inside.

The street was quiet, illuminated by dim streetlights. Beomgyu leaned against the van for a moment, inhaling the crisp night air. It should have felt refreshing, but it only heightened his sense of vulnerability. He glanced around, his eyes scanning the shadows.

His phone buzzed in his pocket, startling him. He pulled it out, the unease growing when he saw the message.

Unknown Number: "You looked tired today. I wish you'd take better care of yourself."

His blood ran cold. Beomgyu whipped his head around, his heart pounding. The street was empty, but the message sent a clear message: someone was watching.

The next few days passed in a blur of anxiety. Beomgyu couldn't shake the feeling that eyes were always on him. At schedules, during practices, even in the safety of the dorm, the paranoia lingered.

His mood didn't go unnoticed.

"You've been acting weird lately," Taehyun said one evening, sitting across from Beomgyu at the kitchen table. "Is something going on?"

"I'm fine," Beomgyu replied quickly, avoiding eye contact.

"You sure? Because you've been zoning out a lot, and you're barely eating," Taehyun pressed.

"I said I'm fine," Beomgyu snapped, immediately regretting the harshness in his tone. "Sorry. I just... I'm tired."

"Okay," Taehyun said gently, though the worry in his eyes didn't fade.

That night, Beomgyu lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. The dorm was quiet, the other members fast asleep, but he couldn't shake the restless energy coursing through him. His phone buzzed again, and he hesitated before picking it up.

Unknown Number: "Goodnight, Beomgyu. Sweet dreams."

His chest tightened. How did they know he was awake?

Beomgyu sat up, his breathing shallow. He considered waking one of the members, but shame and fear held him back. Instead, he typed out a response with shaking fingers.
