BC 1: Bloodline Pt. 3

Armin was standing next to Mikasa while watching Eren doing a few experiments with Hange to better understand the Titan's power according Grisha Yaeger's journal. The news of your escape was still alive and well even after six months and each day the bounty for your capture increases.

All the information they know was that the night Eren visited you from your cell was that you knocked him out and sneaked out. It was very believable, most of them say, since they know you were more powerful than Eren in anything.

"Eren has been a little off and distant for the past few months." Armin muttered while Mikasa just looked down on the ground. Eren's disappearance and tiredness during the day has been getting more frequent and sloppy as (Y/n) is nearing her due labour.

Levi has been unto him but never made it obvious. He wasn't a fool to believe that Eren has nothing to do with your escape. No knowledge of your pregnancy he grew more bitter each day, sharpening his blades everyday to prepare for you and Zeke's execution. 

"Alright, we're done for the day Eren." Hange sighed. It was an early dismissal for training and experiments for Eren, which he never questioned but rather it gave him the opportunity to sneak out earlier and come for you. Unknowingly, this all a part of Scouts plan to track you down. 

"I'm going to rest early. Thanks, Hange." Eren said and immediately ran off, passing Armin and Mikasa like they weren't there. The boy who is seeking freedom knew all to well that sooner or later he was going to get caught.

As soon as Eren was out of sight, the Scout Regiment gathered in an emergency meeting. Hange was pointing on the far west side of the map on the coastline informing the everyone in the scout regiment your possible location. They have been observing Eren discreetly for a month and were determined to find out what was off with hime.

"For caution, when we see our target, (Y/n). Sever her limbs and eyes to ensure she doesn't escape this time." Hange reluctantly said. She wasn't looking forward for this kind of reunion. All she wanted was to embrace you and everything to be back to normal, but how could she? She didn't come for you when after your last sentimental conversation.

"If she transforms..." She couldn't utter it. It was too much. "Behead her at all cost." Levi coldly finished giving your closest soldiers confused looks.

"What about Eren?" Mikasa muttered in a melancholic tone. One thing she's sure of, he loves Eren more than anything and she respects you as a fighter. It was all too difficult for her to comprehend what on both you and Eren's minds. 

"If Eren pushes humanity to the brink of extinction and you happen to be the only one who could stop him, would you kill him."

Your hypothetical question replayed on her mind. Does it apply to her situation now? She looked at Levi who has grown more cold and stern since your sentence to imprisonment, making her believe that she should feel the same way as well, but Eren is not (Y/n).

"We'll lure him out and get him separated from (Y/n). Mikasa. Armin. We trust that you could bring Eren out because we believe that he trusts you two the most out of everybody else." 

Trust? He doesn't even trust me or Armin enough what is going on inside his head or why he has been disappearing in the last two months. Mikasa's thoughts were scrambled and started giving her some headaches. Armin who understand Mikasa's feelings couldn't say or do anything to comfort his friend. After the meeting, everybody started preparing to move out.

Armin was saddling up his horse when he got dragged out in corner not too far and no eavesdroppers. "Your Highness?"

"Shhhh!" Historia shushed and covered Armin's mouth. "Nobody must know I was here. I need you to calm down for what I'm about to say." She whisper yelled while not letting go of Armin's mouth.

"Before the Battle in Shiganshina, When the three of us were taken by my father. Something was done to (Y/n)." Historia hesitated, her lips quivering trying to find the right words. Armin was perplexed. What was she trying to say? And why is this the first time he's hearing something about what happened other than being kidnapped during that time.

"Eren impregnated (Y/n)."

"What?!" Armin muffled angrily. Suddenly everything was making sense. Why Eren had to break you out. His sudden attachment to protect you after all the ordeal. He was enraged about the fact that Historia kept this all to herself. Now, an innocent child's life is on the line because of the secrecy. But why did she do this? Was she even worth a queen to be served?

"Please listen, My father forced that to continue a long bloodline to keep passing the Founding Titan down and with the Spine present he found the opportunity to have it united in one flesh. (Y/n) cannot die until this child is born and inherits the Spine." The queen slowly let her hand go but she was met with Armin's disgusted expression upon hearing everything.

"How come we didn't know about this? Grisha's journal-"

"I tore the pages." What?! Armin's respect for Historia has now disappeared. What was she protecting? Why did she do that?

"Armin!" Jean's called out from a distance. 

"No one must know about this." Historia grabbed his right arm asking for assurance, making Armin glare at her and sneered while yanking his arm away.

You were heavily and tirelessly pacing around the kitchen while occasionally drinking water. Your back and hips cracking and muscles contracting as you could feel the life inside you was ready to come out. The sky was shining pink and while the sun starts to set the golden hour. You were starting to worry and panic if Eren was going to arrive on time for your child to come out.

"I'm here!" Eren's voice echoed in the cabin as he immediately ran to catch your weak body that was reaching for him.

He gently assisted you to sit down on the bed while you wincing in pain and agony not knowing if you were starting labor.

"Listen, (Y/n). We have to get you ready to leave."

"Where the hell will we go in my situation?" 

Eren started packing some stuff for you while constantly looking out the window to check if anyone was directly following him.

"Do you still remember where you first landed in this island?" He knelt down in front of you holding your hands securely. 

"It's a little far more here like an hour or more with a horse. But why-"

"You need to leave this place."

"What?!"

"Listen carefully (Y/n). The Scouts have seen through me and they could be here soon so we have to go now. The both of us have no escape with the fate given to us. Go back to where you came from or where Zeke is. Marry him if you have to. Live like the rumbling will never happen-"

"But our child-"

"I know how much you trust Zeke. I know how much you love him from the beginning. I will still keep my promise for our son." He slipped the ring Zeke gave you on your right ring finger and handed the baseball. Your heart softened on his words and clutched the baseball.

"Thank you for setting me free. But right now, I feel like the baby is coming." You stammered, doing your best to keep it together

Everything was happening so fast but how on earth will you leave this place. Eren was quick to act and assisted you out of the cabin. 

"Please you have to hold on a little longer." He said and pecked a kiss on your belly before he got up the horse's back. He galloped the horse to the fastest it could while carrying both him and you.

Most of the Bonus chapters might be written sloppily because they are in my drafts for a long time. I'm just filling in the gaps so forgive me for the grammatical errors.
