I Will Wait [Jessie J]

Chapter 14 - Afternoon

*Emma's pov*

After P.E. we had lunch. Normally I love lunch because I get to mess around with my friends and generally have a good time. However today was different. We were all sat on our usual table in the middle of the canteen. Charlotte was sat by Mike. Mike was sat by Harri, Harri was say by Georgina. Georgina was sat by Aleks. Aleks was sat by Emily, Emily was sat by Becky, Becky was sat by me and I was sat on the other side of Charlotte. Normally I can take all the hate we give each other because we never actually mean it, but today I wasn't in the mood. Aleks, Georgina and Harri were all taking the piss out of Jessie J, a popular topic they pick because I care about her so much. Aleks and Georgina didn't know that I had met Jess or had her number and nobody knew that I slept with her last night. I smiled to myself thinking about it.

"Oh Emma, what's that you're smiling at? Are you having an orgasm just thinking about Jessie J?" Harrison Joked

"Yeah of course." I replied with a sarcastic tone

"Seriously Emma you need to get over your crush... She's never gonna meet you let alone fancy you." Georgina snapped back

"You wanna bet?" I asked challenging her

"I don't even know why you'd fancy her to be honest. She shaved her head claiming it was to help people who have HIV but really it was just for publicity. You say she's gonna keep it like that I don't know why she looks really ugly." Aleks commented

"Aleks don't you think that's a bit far?" Charlotte said to try and keep it calm. She could see I was hurt by that.

"No I don't. It's the truth and Emma knows it. She's just too caught up in this crush to think of anything that could be wrong with her. She doesn't care about you. She just pretends so she can have a big fan base so she can get lots of money."

"Aleks, you don't know her. She actually cares about people! You wouldn't understand you would never shave your hair off for charity cos you are too obsessed the only thing stopping you from being a slut is the fact you haven't slept with anyone!" I almost shouted I knew it was harsh but she was really pissing me off

"Yeah Emma, I don't know her. But reality is... Neither do you. If you say you do you're living in a dream world." She retorted

"Sometimes dreams come true. And I'm not afraid to say that I've just quoted Jess again. You wanna bet that if I give you my phone and tell you to ring the number that's under Jessica Cornish it'll be Jessie J? £100 quid says it will be her." I said pulling the money out of my pocket to prove I was serious. I hadn't told anyone about it. Everyone else gasped

"Bring it on." Aleks said

I got my phone out and clicked onto Jessica Cornish in my contacts I passed it to Aleks and told her to click the number then put it on speaker phone.

*RING RING RING RING*

"Hey Em, are you okay?" Jess asked as she answered, before I could say anything Aleks spoke up.

"Is this Jessie J?" She asked quietly, awwwww she's gone all shy. Serves you right bitch.

"Yes... Is Emma here?" Jess asked sounding worried I quickly grabbed my phone and the money before anyone could say anything else. I turned it off speakerphone.

"Yeah Jess, I'm here." I told her

"What was all that about?"

"Oh, don't worry. My so called best friend didn't believe me that it was you."

"And you just told them that you had my number?"

"Jess I'm sorry, I was getting pissed off with them, they were saying stuff but I'll explain later when we've got some privacy. Meet me after school at the cycle track when we split up it'll be at about 3:05 ish."
