Chapter 17 - Kira

*Jessie's pov*

Emma explained that she was bisexual to Rachel using some of the lyrics to L.O.V.E. That was cute. Then she said she was falling for a girl and she was falling hard. I had to blink back the tears and Emma saw that. When she asked Rachel if she was okay with it, Emma started shaking like a frightened lamb so I whispered in her ear to reassure her and she shivered. The way her body reacts to me means she's gonna love me one day.

*knock knock knock*

"I'll get it." Emma said as she got up and answered the door "Hi Holly..." I heard her say. I got up and walked towards the door

"Hi I was looking for someone called Jessica, she said she would be at this address."

"Hols, I'm coming." I said as I came round the corner to the door. That's when I heard barking and that could only mean one thing.

"Jackson! I've missed you sooo much! Have you missed your mummy?" I asked as i grabbed him out of Holly's hands. What?! He's my baby, I'm aloud to speak to him like that.

"Good to see you too babe." Holly said sarcastically

"It's wonderful to see you babe. Thanks for bringing Jackson down with you. He wasn't sick in the car was he?" I asked getting a bit worried

"No, he slept all the was here. He was kinda pissed off when I woke him up to see you." I chuckled

"That sounds like him. By the way, this is Emma, you know the girl I was telling you about?" Holly's jaw dropped for a second then she smiled and pulled Emma in for a hug.

"Nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you." Holly told Emma after the hug. I felt myself blushing

"Really?" Emma asked clutching her ribs

"Yeah... Are you okay?" She asked

"Yeah I'm fine, thanks for asking." Emma smiled. They're gonna be friends I know it, so I smiled

"Are you sure? Anyway, any friend of Jess' is a friend of mine." Holly smiled

"I don't think that's always the case." I pointed out.

"Hang on Jess, hold that thought. Are we going to yours?" Emma asked

"Yeah." I replied a bit confused

"Rach! We're going to Jess', I've got my IPod, if you need me Facebook me!" Emma shouted

"Okay! I'll see you later!" Rach called back

"Wait a minute!" Lucy called just as we were walking through the door, "I got your phone from Mr Ingham. I told him the police might need to contact you on it." She smiled and handed Emma's phone over. Emma pulled her on for a hug.

"You are amazing, you know that?" Emma beamed as she sorted out all the notifications.

*Emma's pov*

Jess drove me up to her house and Holly followed behind us. It took about one minute to get up there so Jess just put Capital Fm on.

"I can lose it all tonight just to show the world I can do it twice, this is my life." The end of Big Sean's rap came on. I smiled as Jess started to sing the chorus. The memories that surround this song now. I'll never forget them. Especially Big Sean's rap.

We got out of the car as Holly pulled up behind us. Jess gave Holly her key and we let Jess do the honers as it was her house. For some reason I got quite nervous and I didn't even know why.

After giving Jackson to Holly, Jess eventually opened the door and let Jackson go in first. Jess put him down with his head pointing into the house. He stood there for a minute and turned his head to look at Jess. She nodded.

"This is your new home Jackson, you're gonna love it!" She nodded enthusiastically to him and he ran off into somewhere in the house. "So girls, let me show you round."

Jess showed us every inch of the house. The house came fully furnished and the furniture was beautiful, it suited the style of the house and Jess, which is always a bonus. She showed us the basement last.

"And this is gonna be the recording studio. It's the perfect size. It's bigger than Claude's place back in London." Bless her she was all excited. Holly just looked at me and started giggling, I started giggling too and so did Jess. Ten minutes later we were all getting up off the cold basement floor clutching our stomachs, or in my case my ribs, because of the pain from all the laughter. Every time it takes longer for me to recover. It's gonna be a long few weeks.

When we managed to crawl back up the stairs and into the living room we needed a conversation starter.

"So why is 'Any friend of Jess' is a friend of mine' not always the case?" I asked intrigued by the answer

"Yeah Jess, why?" Holly asked there was a pause all you could here was the clock ticking

"Kira." Was all Jess said

"Jess, I-" Holly started

"Just say it! I know you've been wanting to say it for years." Jess cut her off

"Wait a minute, is this Do It Like A Dude Kira?" I asked and saw the pain flash across Jess' face. "Sorry."

"Em, it's fine. I'm over her." Jess said looking at the floor, I just looked at Holly who shook her head

"Jess. I could always tell there was something wring with Kira. I didn't like her so then maybe you would back away from her. In the end I think it just pushed you closer together. I'm sorry Jess, I guess it's my fault you got hurt so bad." Holly apologised looking really upset with herself

"No. I shouldn't have got involved with her. I was technically her boss." Jess barely got the words out.

"It's no ones fault." Everyone just looked at me, "I know I wasn't there and I know I don't know what happened, but it's love. It's what love does, and you can always pick yourself back up, you learn from love and your mistakes. But you've got to stand up for the love and fight for it. You need to live your life like everyday is the last but you can't do that if you let Kira control your life like she is now." I stopped as I saw Jess flinch at her name. I was so upset right now. It's clear she isn't over Kira and she'll never want me. Jess looked at me and smiled though

"Using my own lyrics to tell me to get a grip are we now?" Jess teased

"Well, you did say sometimes you write songs for yourself, not just for other people." I winked at her

"What don't you know about me?" Jess asked

"Dunno... I'd like to find out though." I smiled. I was deadly serious. I wanted to know everything about her, I want her to know everything about me. I want her to love me as much as I love her. I want her to love me as much as she loved Kira. I want to be able to do those dirty things that are in all those jessbian fanfics. I want to be protective over her and show other people that she's mine and only mine. I want to be able to wake up to next to her eve....

"Em?" Holly shouted and brought me out of my thoughts

"Sorry, I zoned out." I apologised

"Well, I don't know about you but Jess and I are hungry, there's no food in the fridge and we have no idea where any shops are." Holly explained

"Well, there's a Domino's at the end of the lane. Fancy a pizza anyone?" I asked. I showed the girls the way to Domino's and ordered a Peperoni Passion to share.

I really like Holly. She's amazing and loyal, I can see why Jess trusts her so much. She seems nice enough. I really hope we can be friends, for Jess' sake mainly because I know how much family and friends mean to her. But honestly, Holly would be a great friend to have and I can't wait to get to know her better.
