*Emma's pov*

"So what does Jess want?" Was the first thing that Lucy asked me

"I dunno, I haven't spoken to her." As I said this my phone started vibrating and the caller ID indicated it was her.

"Answer it, I won't tell anyone." She smiled.

"Hey Jess." I answered in my most casual voice

"Em! Are you okay?" She asked

"Yeah! Why wouldn't I be?' I asked

"Well you didn't answer my text!" She replied

"What text?" I asked confused

"The first one I sent after you replied to me. The one that said promise me you're okay?" She explained

"Oh right... Jess, I'm in school. I've already had my phone confiscated once this week and really don't want it confiscated again, especially be aide it's the last day. I'm perfectly fine." I reassured her

"Okay. I just want to make sure you're happy."

"I know you do Jess and I'll be happy if your happy. Now you go and have fun with Holly because I don't want to steal you from your friends. Make Holly feel wanted and promise me after this conversation you'll give Holly your phone until she goes home. Can I speak to Holly please?" I asked her

"Okay, I promise. Holly, Emma wants to speak to you." I heard her say

"Hey Em." Holly answered

"Hey Hol. I want you to make sure Jess has a good time and I want you to have a good time too. When I hang up, keep her phone so she doesn't get distracted." I told her

"Why?" Holly asked

"Because she needs to spend time with you without thinking about me or anything else, just you. It's kind of my present to you for letting her stay here. It's not much but I know how much you mean to each other and I feel as if she's not giving you enough attention."

"Okay, well, I'll see you soon Em."

"Yeah see you soon Hol, have a good day." I hung up and turned back to Lucy, "Anything else you want to talk to me about?" I asked.

"Um, yeah basically you are 19th in the year." I just stared at her. I honestly did not have a clue what she was going on about.

"What do you mean I'm 19th in the year?" I asked I was so confused

"Well, in terms of your exam results and other academical achievements, you're 19th in the year out of 338 pupils." My jaw dropped, I did not expect this.

"What does that actually mean?"

"It just means that you are smart. We did send a letter out a few days ago to your..." Lucy trailed off

"Parents? That was Tuesday night wasn't it? I remember, our last conversation was about me and the fact I'm doing well at school." I smiled at the memory

"Yeah. So now I have to make sure everything is okay when it comes to school life." She paused as she thought, "What are you taking for GCSE?"

"Welsh, German, business studies and music." I replied as she wrote it down

"And your sciences?"

"Chemistry and Biology." She wrote these down too. Then she looked across at the results she had for me.

"German and music were both excellent choices, getting level 7s in both. Not many people can do that especially in music. You only got a level 6 in Welsh and IT. So why did you chose to do Welsh and business studies?" She asked. My first thought. Only level six? ONLY? Have you ever tried to get level 7 Welsh? I didn't think so! I thought level six was good. I know we're aiming to get level 7s but still. It's a top level six.
