Suspicion

Sebastian was met by a smirking Luci when he returned in the hazy grey of the morning.

He rolled his eyes. "Fuck off, I'm not in the mood."
"O-kay!" She sing-songed. "Just that, Lilith's really not happy."

"I don't give a damn." He tried to push past her, but she maneuvered slightly so he couldn't.
He scowled. "Get. Out. Of. The. Way."
"No."
"Why not?!"
She grinned. "Because you're fun to wind up."
"Get out of the way!"
"Only if... you say please."
"Holy crap! Please, get the fuck out of the way, before I make you!"

She sidestepped, leaving the way clear. "But seriously, Lilith is going to loose it when she finds you."
He rubbed his eyes, sighing. "I'm going to my room."

She gave him this cute little wave as he trudged up to his room, which he just ignored.

Well, surprise surprise, when Lilith finally managed to pin Sebastian down, she practically blew up in his face.
Not that he really cared. Everything and everyone in this building was a means to an end, including her.

He watched with mild interest as she ranted on at him, whilst he flopped casually on the sofa, reclining against the seat.

There were too many things going on in his mind to give a damn about what she was saying. Plans being formulated, ideas running like wildfire through his mind, as well as dissecting everything Nyx had said the night previously.

Now, if she were here, maybe things would be more bearable. If nothing else, at least there would be someone that he knew was on his side.

Assuming she was on his side.

Now there was a thought.

He knew she wasn't exactly with him, mostly because she didn't know what was happening.
But could she be working against him?

Wait, there was no evidence of that.

Was there?
