Pushing to the edge

Alysha was reveling in being a manipulative, smart mouthed, cruel bitch.

She was pushing Lilith closer and closer to the edge, and both of them knew that unlike most people, Alysha would enjoy provoking Lilith to attack.

In fact, she seemed to want to. Although it was at equal odds to whether she had a purpose to, or just felt like it.

She sauntered over to Lilith, daring to softly chuck her under the chin, cooing as if talking to a child.
"Aww, poor lovely, having to resort to old methods to achieve her goals. Bet you sometimes wish you'd been nicer to me."

Lilith laughed cruelly. "How so? You're nothing but a shadow of your former self. You were lost in the past, left behind. No one remembers you."
"Ah." Alysha purred with a sly grin. "But unlike you, the fact they don't remember me means they can't hate me."

Lilith lost it, and slammed her into a column with full force. The cavern echoed and shook around them, as Alysha blinked almost dazedly, seeming disorientated, before her dreaded grin licked across her lips.
"Well done, Lovely... oomph!"

Lilith hurled her across the cavern, Alysha crashing centimeters away from where Luci was trying to choose between deserting and staying to spectate.
Alysha groaned as her head hit rock. "Shit. Are you done yet?"

Lilith stormed towards her, swift as a striking cobra.
Alysha scrambled upwards, springing onto her feet. "Obviously not!" She hurdled a low stalactite, allowing Lilith to chase her around the rock, using it as a shield.

And then she was everywhere again, hiding in the midst of her thousand reflections.
Lilith snarled. "Come out and fight!"
Alysha just smiled.

Prowling around the cavern, Lilith also smiled. "You're so weak. You shield yourself with others, and hide behind your little illusions, pretending to be so different. Starting fights you never finish, you're prepared to lie, threaten and injure for your own gain. But you'll never kill. You'll never end someone, no matter what they've done, although you pretend like you will. Why is that again, Lovely?"

Alysha roared, leaping at Lilith from behind, throwing herself at the other woman in a vicious, animalistic pounce.
