Reflections of Dawn

The place was a web of blood and ice, both stringing everyone together and splitting them apart.
Power thrummed the air from all different directions, as everyone called on their own gifts, anger and adrenaline seeping like poison into the air.

Alysha ducked under Lilith's legs, slipping in her own blood.
She took the opportunity to rake her makeshift knife along Lilith's flesh, making shallow cuts on her skin.
A second swing struck home in Lilith's thigh, burying the stone blade into her flesh before ripping it out, tearing muscle and skin.

Lilith kicked at Alysha, catching her in the stomach, sending her spilling off to slam against the wall.
Alysha groaned. "One more person throws me into a wall..." 
She touched the back of her head, wincing. She drew her fingers back, looking with wide eyes at her scarlet stained fingers.
Tentatively, she tasted the blood on her finger tips.

Then, she broke into a crazy smile, holding her knife aloft, watching the pale light glimmer off Lilith's blood staining the blade

On soft feet, she rushed over to the gouge mark where Luci had pulled Sebastian's knife from the wall.
Grinning with her blood smeared lips, she drove one of her shredded fingers into the wall, red bleeding down the stone.

Then, taking the stone blade, she drove it into the wall, cracks splitting from the opening as the object was pushed in.

Lilith shrieked. "What are you doing?"
"Cheating. Hacking, technically."

Lilith roared, hurling herself at Alysha, ripping her away from the wall.
Alysha yelped, throwing her head back and smashing it into Lilith's nose with a crunch, making them both grunt in pain.

Suddenly, Alysha's eyes, dark as night, lit up with silvery blue light, the rock of the cave following suit.

"Oh, you're in so much trouble."
