Alysha shoved Lilith off her, incidentally pushing her out of the way as a cascade of rock tumbled down to where she was a second before.

Alysha threw herself backwards out of the way of a massive segment of ceiling that tumbled down from above.

Chunks of rock and stone rained down on everyone, drawing blood and screams when they struck.
Pathways out opened up and collapsed just as quickly, so they were trapped in one moment and free as a bird the next.

And then there was the reflections, and the power collected behind those, thrumming through this place.

It had been bad before, creating confusion and illusion, even without Alysha pulling upon it.

But now, it was tumbling around their ears like shards of glass.
It distorted their vision, the sound rumbling in their ears, bashing around in their minds.

The untold power of this place drenched the air like leaking oil poisoned the sea, choking their bodies, minds and souls. It was chaos, madness, sanity taking a step back for survival.

No one knew who was who. No one cared.

They all had one prerogative.

Get out.

"Wait, what's going on?"

Alysha swore. It was the first time Nyx had spoken, and her voice cut like glass through the sick, poisoned haze.

"Hang on, baby. I'll get us out. I promise."
