"What do you mean, you don't know? Do you want to come see or don't you?"
"What, like, now?" Nyx nibbled her lip nervously. "Maybe not..."

"Don't be an idiot, sat yes!"

Nyx ignored Alysha. "I don't... feel comfortable walking into something I know nothing about. Especially when Lilith's involved. If you recall, she tried to kill me!"

"When?"
"When I brought you back to life, you moron! When else? She threated my life, which triggered my powers, which made you like you are now!"
Sebastian rolled his eyes. "She's hardly going to do that again, is she?"

"He's right, don't be a moron! Besides, we could kick her ass!"

"No, we can't."
"I did last time. I saved us when she tried to kill us."
"That was my powers going onto autopilot."
"Yeah, same thing."

Nyx shook herself out of her reverie. "Look, I don't... think it's a good time. I promise, I'm not going to tell the Clave or anything, I just... Don't think I can get involved."
"But you said you wanted to be involved!" He exclaimed angrily. "Make up your mind. Are you with me or not?"

"I'm not with you or against you, I'm staying neutral. I was just... curious!"

"You're being an idiot. Calm down and get over yourself!"
"Shut up!"

"Just curious? Fuck's sake, when are you going to grow up and make a decision for yourself for once, instead of having mummy dearest hand you everything on a plate!"

Nyx snarled. "I made a decision to help you. I made a decision to be with you. And now my mother's in a hospital and may never walk again, because of something you're involved with. So excuse me if it can't all go your way, but life's just like that!"

At that moment, both Nyx and Alysha felt the same anger and frustration crackling through their veins, like an iron rope binding them together. "Here's my decision. Get out, before I make you!"
