If looks could kill, Alysha would be very dead.

As it was, she was smiling like a manic, a wicked glint in her eye as she baited Lilith through a mix of snide comments and general pretending to ignore her.

In fact, she seemingly paid more attention to Luci and the wall than she did Lilith.

However, Lilith was shockingly not retaliating with anything worse than a glare, as Alysha essentially pushed her aside and began her own examination of the wall, playing her fingers along each line and mark as if it were a beloved musical instrument.
All the while she hummed a hypnotically irritating tune, timing herself to the loud drip! drip! of water off a nearby stalagmite.

You could have cut the tension with a knife.

It was so much so, that Luci backed up the passage to the exit, preparing to flee at a moments notice, because when this fuse ran down, it was really going to blow.

Alysha turned around to face Lilith, a wicked twinkle in her eye. Hatred poured off Lilith like a toxic wave, at which Alysha only smiled, loving the effect she was having.

Neither woman spoke, each waiting for the other to be the first to crack.

Alysha leant casually against the stone wall, the red of the painting seeming almost like a demonic halo around her head.

Her eyes burned with a primal light, and for the first time you got a sense wild this... creature was.
She seemed timeless, both age and youth echoing in her features.

Finally, she spoke. "So, lovely, aren't you going to ask me nicely how to open the door?"

Lilith ground out through gritted teeth. "How do you open the door?"
Alysha tutted, like she was scolding a naughty child. "I think we're forgetting our manners. What happened to 'please'? Otherwise you're just positively rude. Go on, ask me 'please.' I want to hear you say please."

Of all the killer looks Alysha would ever gain, this had to be the most deadly.

And what do you think of that?
Alysha seems to be pushing all the boundaries, as a general rule.
