Sebastian was furious.

Anger seeped from his eyes as he charged through the tunnels, towards the direction of the echoing crash that had ricocheted around the honeycomb-like tunnels.

Finally, after what seemed like a furious eternity, he caught a glimpse of a reflection which made him rush forwards, slipping into familiar tunnels, following them down until he saw a familiar silhouette.

Luci was in the middle of the process of attempting to escape to safety whilst still curiously watching the fight, the result having her almost awkwardly creeping backwards as if she really didn't want to leave.

Consequently, she didn't notice  him until he was directly behind her, making her jump.

"What's going on?" He snarled.

She scrunched up her nose almost disgustedly at him, speaking dryly. "Oh, you're back. Brilliant."
She went to push past him, but he grabbed her, slamming her against the wall. "Listen here, you..."

They both went flying to the floor as the cave shook violently, tremors running through the earth. Dust and small chips of rock rained down on them from above, glinting in their hair and on their skin like tiny jewels.

Pushing himself off the ground, Sebastian raced forwards, only to see Alysha crash into the wall in front of him.

Her eyes burned like red fire, her fingers claw-like and her teeth bared like an animals. It may have been a trick of the light, but just for a second, her canines seemed sharpened into needle-like points.

Luci appeared besides his elbow, bloodlust evident in her elfish features as she watched.

Alysha peeled herself off the wall, dragging a large, knifelike chunk of rock out of her shoulder, blood pouring in a tidal wave down the blades of her back.
She examined the now crimson blade-like object for a second, a familiar sickening smile  twitching on her split, bloody lips.

And then she turned and charged down the hallway, pushing past Luci and Sebastian, who ended up being dragged along in her wake as Lilith clawed her way down the passage behind them.
