The boys eyed Alysha warily as she drove them home, her hands gripping the wheel in a steel-like grasp.
Owen ventured to speak. "So... What the heck just happened?"

"You almost got beaten into a pulp, I stopped it happening."

"Yeah, but like... how exactly?"

"I bent his arm backwards. I'm pretty sure you saw that."

Travis leant forwards, leaning on the backs of the two front seats. "I didn't. What the hell happened? One second I'm enjoying the party, next I'm being dragged out because my little sister who has never shown any violent tendencies before today, beat up a guy nearly twice her size. Am I missing something?"

Alysha snorted. "Yeah right, no violent tendencies whatsoever."

Travis chuckled. "Who are you, and what have you done with Nyx?"
"I'm Alysha and she's fine."

Travis choked. "...The fuck?" Then he burst out laughing. "Good one! You got me for a second, the way you just said it so dead-pan! Well done, Nyx! Funny!"
Alysha rolled her eyes. "Yeah, it's funnier when you realise I'm not joking."

Travis stopped laughing. "Wait, what? What have you done with my sister?"
"I... kind of am Nyx, but kind of not. We share a body, and currently I'm having a turn."

Nick gave her a harsh glare from the seat behind her. "What do you mean by that?"
"It means that you boys are stuck with me for the time being. Sorry. But I saved Owen from needing plastic surgery, so I think that gets me some points. Besides, I'm awesome, and anyone who says differently goes on my hit list."

"You're awesome." Came the monotone chorus.
"And you're all scaredy-cat boot-lickers." She purred, turning them off the road. "So, that's Rachel, Evelyn, you guys and Magnus that know the secret. You guys better keep shush about me, you know."
