Burning curiosity

Sebastian found Lilith further in the cave, looking around a high ceilinged cavern.
"So, the point of our spontaneous trip is... what exactly?"

She ignored him, trailing her fingers along the walls as if seeking something.
He rolled his eyes, striding after. "Okay, new question. Do you by any chance know an Alysha?"

"Potentially several. I've lived a long time and it's not an uncommon name." The reply was dead flat.

Sebastian mentally groaned. "Okay, any Alysha's that would have a murderous grudge against you?"
"Potentially several. I've lived a long time and it's not an uncommon name."

"Okay, any who are likely to label themselves my arch nemesis?"

"That's probably a better question to ask yourself. You've obviously got on the wrong side of her."
Sebastian smirked victoriously. "I never said it was a girl."

Lilith gave him an odd look. "It's a girls name."
"I think you know more than you're telling." He fixed her with his cold gaze. "Tell me what the name means."
"I think it's 'Light of God' or something. 'Protection of God'? I don't know, I don't make a habit of knowing name meanings. Now, do something useful, you're looking for a cavern with a wall of grey stone. Actual stone, not this glassy stuff."

Sebastian ignored most of what she'd just said, focusing on the first part.
"I'm not asking for the name's meaning."
"You literally asked what the name meant."

He wanted to break something. Frustratedly, he kicked a rock. "Just tell me what you know about this Alysha person."
"For your benefit, you don't want me to do that. She's not a threat." Then, suddenly, something dawned on her. "Unless... clever. That's so simple, yet so clever."

"Yeah, I'm not following. Explain now." Sebastian spat angrily.

Lilith chuckled. "Help me first, then I'll explain. Now, tell me about your little friend, Nyx."

"Yeah... no."

Might seem a little out of character for some, especially Lilith. I'm not sure.

Sorry it's late, phone died.
