Reflections of Dawn

Say so

Alysha ducked through a passageway, suddenly coming out into another open spaced cathedral-like cavern.
She almost pirouetted on one foot, glancing around the cavern as she raced to the centre.

"Well, we're all here now!" She hollered, laughing madly, her voice echoing around the room. "All of us, with our own little designs and plans and vendettas, just like every other frikking being in this universe." She turned on Lilith, who was easing herself out of the smaller passage, angry fire written across her face.
"See, lovely, things don't always go your way. They certainly don't mine."

She went to grab Lilith, but was forced to dodge backwards, as a blade flew past her face, centimeters from her blood crusted nose.

She blinked in surprise, rounding on Sebastian, who's face bore so little emotion, it was like looking at a void.
Alysha threw her arms open wide."What you saving her for, huh? She's been stringing you along the whole time!"

Lilith chose that moment to leap at Alysha, only to be knocked out of the air by Sebastian's arm.

"No one dies until I say!" He snarled.
"... But we can do stuff that doesn't involve death, right?" Alysha queried, not missing a beat with her suicidally cheery attitude.

Sebastian gave her deadly eyes, and for the first time, Alysha decided not to talk.

"What the hell is going on?" He roared, voice echoing around the cavern.
Lilith was the first to attempt words, but was cut off.
"The whole truth, or nothing."

Silence. No one knew how to react.

"... We could... take him out, then continue fighting?" That was Alysha, talking to Lilith, standing on tiptoes to see over Sebastian's head. Once again, she'd recovered quickly and defaulted to overly cheery psychopath.
Lilith snarled, solely focused on wanting to kill Alysha, but for some reason holding back.

Probably because Sebastian was in the middle, although that wasn't going to stop her for long.

He rounded on Alysha. "Give me my Nyx back."

Alysha lost it. "She's not YOUR Nyx! She's MINE!"
