Chapter 53: "Vinnie Fuckin' Vegas"
Third Person POV

The day that Jolene and Kevin met was a clear and windy one in early January 1992. Kevin had just received a gimmick switch and would be working alongside Scott, Jolene, Dallas, and Scott Levy in the Diamond Mine.

Kevin knocked on the door of Scott's room and after a couple of moments, Scott let him in. A smirk played on Scott's lips as he looked up at his tall friend.

"So, I think it's time for you to meet my favorite little lady in the company." Scott began. "I swear, you're going to be blown away by her. Joli's the fuckin' best."

Now, Kevin had to admit, the mysterious woman that he had heard so much about definitely intrigued him. The Diamond Mine angle would be Kevin's first one in a while, as he had just returned from injury. When Scott and Dallas hit him up and asked him to work with them, Levy, Kimberly, and another hot chick, Kevin couldn't say 'no.'

"I'm curious about this girl, I can't lie about that." Kevin chuckled. He slipped his hands down into the pockets of his jeans as he looked over at Scott. "You've really hyped her up. I hope she likes me." Kevin joked.

"I'm sure she will." Scott nudged Kevin with his elbow. "Just don't embarrass yourself." Scott teased with a wink.

"Oh shut up." Kevin laughed, shoving Scott's shoulder. The smaller male just grinned and walked over to simple door that connected his hotel room and Jolene's.

"Hey Joli, you got a second?" Scott's voice had taken Jolene's attention away from the skirt that she had been trying to fix upon her waist. After releasing a frustrated sigh at her skirt, Jolene turned her head to face the door.

"Yeah, I'm free, Scott. I just need some help fixing my skirt."

"You tryin' to get it on or off?" Jolene didn't need to see Scott to know he had a smirk on his lips.

"On."

"Ah, all right. Can I come on in? I've got someone with me that you'd probably like to meet."

"Come on."

Scott opened the door and walked into Jolene's room, noticing that she had her back to him. After Scott had slapped her ass, Jolene looked at him over her shoulder. It was only then that Jolene noticed a tall, handsome, short-haired male standing behind Scott.

"Help me with my skirt real quick, Scott. Just zip it up and fix the safety pin where you can't see it, okay?" Jolene turned around so that she was facing the male she hadn't seen before while Scott went behind of her and began to fix her skirt. "Who's this?"

"He's one of our new members of the Diamond Mine." Scott grinned as he zipped Jolene's skirt. "His name is Kevin Nash, but you've but probably heard Dally call him Vinnie Vegas."

"Really? You're Vinnie Vegas? Hot damn." Jolene smiled up at Kevin and went to extend a hand to him in greeting, only to jump slightly when Scott accidentally stabbed her ass with the safety pin. "Shit! Scott!"

"Fuck, babe. Sorry." Scott apologized with a nervous laugh, rubbing where he had accidentally poked her before fastening the safety pin in its proper place.

"Anyway," Jolene laughed softly at Scott as he walked back over beside of Kevin. "I'm sure Scott's told you all about me. I'm the undoubtedly infamous Jolene Milford."
