Chance's Point Of View

'I want Tessa to be happy, maybe, a divorce would be the best.' I think to myself. I walk to Tessa's room. She said she was going to the studio and her phone was dead.

I open her door and see her phone laying on the bed charging. I unlock it and go to her messages. I get the number from the last person she texted. I set her phone down and leave. I call the number.

"Hello." A female voice answers.

"I'm Chance. Is this Tessa's girlfriend?"

"Was, she married you."

"About that. I realize that you two love each other. So, I'm willing to divorce her." I say.

"No, no. You don't have to." She says.

"No, I realize that I'm not the one for her. You are."

"I don't want to be a home wrecker." She says.

"The marriage was just for views. I'm going up to the court house to get the papers."

"You would do that for a total stranger?"

"It's more for Tessa then anything."

"Thank you, so much."

"You're welcome. Bye."

"Bye." I hang up and call an Uber.

The Uber pulls up to the court house. I pay the driver and go inside.

I fill out my part of the paperwork and call an Uber to go back home.

I walk inside the house and walk to Tessa's room. I open the door and don't see her. I set the paperwork on her bed and leave.
