Liv & Uma

You have know Uma most of your life you and are are close. Some see you as sisters, best friend or more than friends but you and Uma never really put a label on how you two are with each other you are both just really comfortable with one another. You both have two other friends Harry son of Captain Hook and Gil son of Gaston. When you are with them you are usually very bubbly and happy but today was different you didn't want to be around anyone but you put a fake smile. Anyone would think that you are fine but Uma, Harry and Gil knew better and you were making them concerned. They knew not to approach you all at once and not all at the same time.
Gil was the first one to approach you and even though Gil isn't the smartest in the crew he was very compassionate and full of concern for his friends
"Liv are you ok?" He asked sitting beside you
"I'm fine Gil" you answer a little too quickly and look at him. He seen there was sadness and hurt in your eyes and you couldn't hide it as much as you tried.
"Liv, I know your lying" he said
"Gil I'm fine alright please just leave me alone" You said and you got up of your  seat in the chip shop and left. You didn't know but Gil looked back over at Harry and Uma before going over got them
"Well?" Harry ask
"She said she's fine but she isn't" Gil told them and they looked sad
"Will I go to her?" Harry asked
"Not yet, wait a few hours" Uma said and Harry nodded then she went out the back door and both Harry and Gil knew this hurt her more because of how close you two are.
A few hours later Harry had gone looking for you and he found you out your house with your cat. He smiled at the sight of it he remembered when you first got your cat, you ran to the ship with your cat in your arms excited to tell them
"Guys look what I got today!" You say excitedly and Uma, Harry and Gil come over to you and see a small kitten in your arms
"Aw it's so cute" Gil said
"When did you get him/her?" Uma ask
"This morning" you reply
"Nice one lass, what's his/her name?" Harry ask
"His/her name is (your cats name)" you tell him
"Suits it" Uma said
"Can we play with him/her?" Gil ask
"We have training Gil" Uma said
"Please Uma" Gil said
"Come on Captain" Harry said and you handed him/her to Uma and it licked her face slightly
"Oh ok, but only for a while" she said smiling and you hug her
The four of you spend most of the afternoon playing with your cat then Uma told you to come to the restaurant with her and she will give him/her some fish and you tell her ok. She tells Harry and Gil to start training again and they nod. They tell the crew and everyone gets to work.
He smiled at the memory that was 6yrs ago, he walked over to and sat down beside you, there was a few moments of silence before he broke it
"What's going on lass?" He ask
"It's nothing" you say
"It's obviously something" harry replied
"It's none of your concern" you say
"Actually it is, if you are upset then that is my concern" he told you
"VKs are supposed to get upset" you say
"If it is something you deeply care about or something close then you can be, Uma is upset" he told you and your eyes widen at the last part
"Why?" You ask
"Because you aren't you today" he told you
"Tell Uma in fine" you say
"Can I hold him/her" he ask
"Sure" You say and hand (your cats name) to him
"Still cute like all those years ago" he said
"Yeah" you say and he sees tears in your eyes
"Is there something wrong with him/her?" Harry asked and you just looked away from him.
"Lass talk to me" he said
"I can't" you say and he sighs
"You know where we are if you change your mind" he said and gave your cat back and you sent him a smile which he returned
"Emotions may not be known here but the four of us are different" Harry said you smiled at that
You, Harry, Gil and Uma hid having emotions around people but behind closed doors you let all your emotions out.
"See you all lass" he said
"Bye Hook" you say and he smiled before leaving you alone
You walk in the opposite direction to go to the woods and  you go to the cliff that had the best few of the Isle it made it look pretty. You stayed there for a few hours and soon heard footsteps you seen it was Uma and she had two trays of food. She sat one done for your cat to eat which they happily did then you and her shared a try of food.
Uma knew not to ask you what was wrong right a way like the boys did. She had you both talking about anything else to keep your mind off whatever had been upsetting you today. When you too finished eating there was a silence then you seen the sun start to go down.
"Liv what's wrong?" She asked and the tears instantly started going down your face making her eyes widen and she instantly hugged you. She let you cry and (your cats name) got on your knee, when you finished crying you took a few deep breaths and calmed down before you started to fell Uma what was wrong
You told that (your cats name) was sick and that he/she wasn't getting better no matter what the vet has done for them and she sent you a sad look you told her that they will be put down the day after tomorrow and she told you that tomorrow you, her, Harry and Gil will have the best day every with him/her making you smile. You and her stayed her for a few more hours you put your head on her shoulder and she kissed the top of your head as a way of telling you that everything will be alright.
