PHASE 100 - I WILL RISK IT ALL!

“Di...a...dem…” I muttered.

My cheeks are now overflowing with warm water coming from my eyes. Seeing my own twin brother being sliced into half is the most horrible thing I have seen.

“Tia...ra… my… beautiful... sister…”

With his remaining hand left, he crawled and wrapped warmth to my praying hands. His face is pale, and almost out of the blood. Red fluid gushed out from his mouth, nose, and eyes. It’s a miracle that even he can manage to stay alive this long even though his body has been cut off.

“Aw, that’s so sad and touching.” The Outsider mocked.

“<Moonlight Waltz>!!!” That was Freyr’s voice! Everything was engulfed by darkness, and there is a thousand silver streak! But sadly, The Outsider used his time powers again to evade that attack.

“Key, continue on treating Helena’s wounds! I’ll take the Outsider!” Freyr said as he charged forward with his crimson sword.

Key/Athena nodded in agreement. Helena is no longer in critical condition thanks to Freyr’s <Enhanced Healing Touch>, but they must continue the treatment so that Helena’s life wouldn’t be exposed to danger once again.

Clang! Clang! Clang! The crashing sound of the blades between the God of Kings and the Man who fell in love with the Frozen Soul shatters the wind.

Freyr made blinding slashes to the Outsider, and the Outsider parried his attacks with his white sword. That wicked man had this smile on his face as he fights, telling us that he’s amused in watching our friends die.

“Damn youuuuu!!!” Freyr cried.

“Diadem! Diadem!” I hollered out loud. I wanted to heal him. I wanted to reattach his torn lower half to his upper body. I want to abandon my duty in singing the <Song of Salvation> so that I can save him...

Diadem tightened his squeeze on my praying hands, telling me that I shouldn’t do that.

“Don’t… move… the Frozen Soul… will delete us… if you stop channeling the <Song of Time>.” Diadem smiled with his blood-red lips.

“Diadem…” I cried.

“Don’t answer… Just listen to me… Listen… I love you, my beautiful twin sister… And I’m sorry… that I made you suffer… for so long. You deserve Alaric… than anybody else… You deserve a happy ending together… I can see how much… he loves you… and I can see how much you… love him too. I’m sorry… if I forced you… to repeat the timelines just to save… him. I’m sorry… if I killed him… over and over… again...”

Blood splashed out from his mouth as he tried hard to speak.

“Diadem!” I cried. “I already forgave you a long time ago!”

“Tiara… Thank… You…”

Diadem closed his eyes, and tears flowed from his closed eyelids. There is no sign that he will open it ever again.

No.

No.

This is not happening.

So many people have died just because of this. But I couldn’t blame Rikkun, my father, or Diadem for making a contract with that Outsider. He always forged our destinies so that they cannot resist his offer. The Outsider has been planning this revival of the Frozen Soul for eternity.
