Hours left: 1

"This makes total sense. Of course the bad guy would  hide everything at the furtherest side of the moon." Haechan scoffed as he wrapped his arms around his body, trying to gather warmth as they walked around the part of the dark side that was forbidden.

"It really is unoriginal, I'm surprised we didn't think about it." Jaemin laughed a little, shivering from the cold air around them.

Chenle has directed them to a run down building. One that had to be closed years ago because of a horrifying incident.

It was where the government tested on nobodies, trying to find ways to get them to feel emotions again.

Jaemin shuddered at the sight of the old building, shivers down his spin as the wind blew around the two boys.

"I guess we better go get that letter."

Minutes left: 50

Chenle had told them that the thief took him up to the third floor. Jaemin would fly up, but to his dismay, the whole building didn't have windows.

The two walked up the stairs quietly, trying to make sure that the thief couldn't hear them.

There was smashed glass everywhere, book cases and files littered the floor, it felt haunted.

Making their way up the second flight of stairs, they finally made it to the third floor. Looking around carefully before laying eyes on Chenle.

He was in the corner of the room with sweat dripping down his face, hair matted to his head and dark circles under his eyes as he looked physically worn out.

"He isn't here." He forced out, the two boys letting down their alarm to rush over to the boy.

"You pushed yourself to hard Chenle." Jaemin said as he dabbed his forehead with his sleeve.

Chenle could only let out a small laugh, weakly lifting his finger to point to the other side of the room.

"Over there."

Haechan followed the direction of his finger, gasping slightly at the amount of letter that had been discarded on the floor.

Walking closer to them he saw at least 100. Some were still white, meaning they were relatively new, but some had yellowed with age.

Jaemin had made his way next to Haechan, looking down at the letters and his heart ached.

"T-thats, I-" Jaemin couldn't even find the words. Mind crowded as he thought about all the people who didn't get their letters, all the people who became nobodies, all the people who lost themselves.

His heart ached, not wanting Renjun to end up like these letters- discarded.

Chenle had worked up the strength to join them near the letters, bending down and picking one up.

"I don't think it occurred to us that we don't actually know what Renjuns letter looks like." Chenle said as he gazed over the brownish yellow letter in his hand.

Thumb gliding over the aged paper that said "To my Dearest Soulmate."

Every letter held a different message, a letter that would give a new meaning of life to these people, but instead they were rotting away in an abandoned building.

Haechan took no time in dropping to his knees, rummaging through the letters to find one that he saw fit to be Renjuns- the other two boys following suit.

"Where could it be." Jaemin huffed out as he picked up every individual letter like his life depended on it, well, Renjuns did.

The three boys stoped their search when a voice echoed through the room. Hearts beating fast as they turned around, eyes landing on non other than the thief. "Are you looking for this?"

He was holding a letter, one they assumed was Renjuns.

Haechan squinted his eyes, tilting his head as he looked at the hooded figure.

"Taeil?"
