"Do you have skittles?" She asked looking up to the boy and he shook his head.
Her jaw dropped in shock and she tsked. "You're really missing out- there'a also red skins, can't forget the chocolate. What about this flavour? Do you have this?"
A vivid evocation washed through his mind in clouds of white as he saw Jihyun standing in front of him at a convenient store.
His hand coming up to his head as he closed his eyes, the images flickering through his head as if the events happened yesterday.
Her eyes held a thousand stars as she looked up to him, skittle packet in hand- and almost identical images placed in front of him as he opens his eyes.
Skittle packet in hand as she looks up to him, big eyes now filled with worry as Renjun wobbles on his feet slightly, headache forming in replacement from the memory.
"Oh my goodness, Renjun are you okay?" She asked, an arm snaking around his waist as she lead him to a bench.
He fell down onto the seat as he tried to regain stability, a sharp pain shooting to behind his eyes as he looks up to the girl.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine," he mumbled out and Jihyun quickly rummaged through her bag.
"Here," she said, holding out the exact same water bottle Renjun had given her days prior.
"Don't worry, it has fresh water in it."
Renjun thanked her and began drinking from it, his heart beating a little bit fast at everything that had just happened.
"Are you feeling better?" She asked with worry and he nodded his head.
"Very, thank you," he said with a small smile and she couldn't help but smile back.
"Don't go fainting on me Renjun, you're too heavy for me to carry," she said nudging his side and grinning cheekily.
Renjun scoffed out, "too heavy?" He said in disbelief, automatically going limp, falling to his side and into her arms.
"Well I'm feeling awfully tired. You're going to have to bring me to my next class," he declared with a smirk.
Jihyun groaned out at the extra weight added on top of her and she began hitting his arm.
"Okay heffalump, I cant breath," she said before falling off of the chair and onto the floor, bringing Renjun down with her.
His hand automatically reached out, placing it under her head as she collided with the floor- his other hand holding his body weight off in order not to squish her.
Her screwed up eyes flung open, wide as she noticed how close the two were.
Renjuns eyes were wide too, ears heating up as he felt her soft breath fanning his face, the sent of mint infecting his senses.
Jihyuns cheeks turned a soft shade of red under his gaze, hands still resting on his arms- the curve of his muscles becoming prominent under her fingertips as he propped himself up.
"Uhhhhh," her throat vibrated as she looked up with him, pupils dilating under the heavy lights.
She cleared her throat, "Renjun?"
"O-oh right," he said, pushing himself off of her and rubbing the back of his neck, "sorry."
"It's alright," she said, standing up and brushing herself off. "Man I really need to work out more," she laughed and Renjuns ears burned even more.
He let out an awkward chuckle, "I-uh" he began, mumbling his words only to be cut off by the bell.
"I guess that's the start of the next class, see you later Junnie," Jihyun said, waving to him and walking away.
"B-bye."
