Renjun was currently sat in history class, bored out of his mind ad his deftly moved his pen around his fingers.
Foot bouncing in boredom as he drones out the sound of his teacher excitedly explaining the relations South Korea has with the different countries of the world.
He was looking out the window into the hallway, watching as students walked pass to go to the toilet or the odd mischievous student who had been sent to the principals office.
He sighed, looking up to the clock that hung above the white board- dying inside a little more when he noticed that only 5 minutes have past- it felt like an hour.
The days have drifted by so slowly, minutes feeling like hours and hours feeling like days.
Nothing felt right, but everything felt normal.
"I just want this day to be over," he thought with a sigh, thinking to himself.
"Me too," a voice answered him back, and his ears perked up, posture straightening as his eye brows furrowed.
Did someone just answer him back? How was that even possible...
"They're always so slow," there it was again, the voice- but this time it wasn't in his head.
He looks around the room and notices a girl whispering to her friend.
Her face covered as she tries to not get caught by the teacher whose back was turned away.
Her friend laughs and the two pull away, allowing Renjun to get a clear view of the girl.
His eyes widen, it's the girl from the cafe. She goes to his school? And she's in his class? How has he never noticed before.
He continues to stare at her, watching as she rests her chin on her propped up hand, soft brown hair pulled loosely into a high pony tail with delicately placed loose hair to frame her face.
She was still just as beautiful as when he first laid eyes on her that day. He couldn't take his eyes off of her.
"Renjun," he heard a name call out to him but he ignores it.
"Renjun I'm asking you a question," the sound called out again- successfully bring him out of his trance.
His posture once again perks up as his gaze directs over to his teacher.
"Yes sir, sorry," he said, all eyes on him now.
He quickly glances back over to the girl who was now staring at him and he felt heat rise to his ears.
"W-what was the question?" He stammered out.
"I asked, what can you tell me about the explosion of 1937."
Renjun looks down at his book, his page showing a topic of complete nugatory.
He flipped through his book, overly aware of all the eyes staring at him until he finds the page. When had they gotten onto that topic?
He quickly skimmed over the page before looking back up the the teacher.
"Isn't it about the portal that was blown up?" He asked, voice timid as he wasn't 100% certain.
"Yes you're correct," the teacher began, finding back to the white board and writing something down.
Renjun took this opportunity to look back over to the girl who was now facing the front. Sighing to himself as he didn't mess anything up.
Why was he acting like this?
