They sat at the table, eating their pancakes in solitude as they all were consumed by thought- letting time tick away slowly.

"Did you want us to come with you guys? Just in case," Jeno asked and Renjun shook his head.

"No, it's okay, If anything happens I don't want you guys to get hurt. You still need to find your soulmate," Renjun said and Jeno nodded.

"Why does it have to be like this," Jisung dropped his head and spoke in a whisper but everyone heard him.

"I'm honestly not sure Ji, but everything will be okay," Jihyun gave him a reassuring smile and rubbed his back soothingly.

"Will it?" Renjun asked, acting normal to hide the fact they're talking to each other.
"What if something happens and-"

"Nothing is going to happen Renjun, I won't let it. As much as I don't want you to go back, I will make sure that you get to moon."

The sound of a car pulling up on the driveway filled the house and sorrow filled the air.
"I guess this is it," Jeno spoke lowly.

"I guess so," Renjun said standing up. The two boys meeting each other in an embrace.

"It was nice meeting you Renjun, safe journey home- I'll see you again soon," Jeno said petting his back before pulling away.

"Likewise. I wish you luck on finding you soulmate, they got extremely lucky," the two shared a small smile before Renjun turned around to the younger, but much taller, boy.

He had a pout playing on his lips as he looked down at the boy, "do you have to go?" He asked and Renjun pulled him into a hug.

"I'm afraid so, but I will be back soon," Renjun felt Jisungs shoulders slump a little and he knew the perfect way to cheer him up, "I'll see if I can bring you back something from the moon."

His idea worked because Jisungs posture straightened and a smile now replaced his sad pout.

"Common Jun, it's time to leave," Jihyun said, entertaining their fingers and they began to walk off.

"Bye Hyung!"
"Be Safe!"
The two called out and Renjun returned their waves.

When they made it outside they saw Jihyuns parents waiting beside the car.
"It's time," her father spoke.

"Are you Ready?" Jiyoung asked and they both dropped their heads with a sigh.
"I know this is hard, but you will be back before you know it."

Renjun nodded his head, knowing she was right, but there was something in his stomach that didn't feel right.

"Common, Let's get going," Juwon said getting into the car and his wife followed.

Jihyun and Renjun turned to face each other, giving a small smile before reading their hands and walking to opposite sides of the car.

I'm about an hours time they will be separated once more.

Juwon started the engine and started reversing out of the drive way. Before he was about to drive off Renjun saw Jeno and Jisung waving from behind the window.

Renjun smiled and waved back quickly before the sight of his two new friends disappeared from view.
