Unfortunately Northern Ireland has had its first death from coronavirus. There are now 77 cases, which is bad but it isn't as bad as some other countries. The whole of the UK now has over 3,000 cases and Ireland has over 500. It's pretty worrying how many people are getting infected, but I haven't been out of my house since Monday. I've heard the all the schools will be closed on Monday and in the rest of the UK they're being closed tomorrow.
I also found out that Greenland has two infections and in Plague Inc they nearly always get infected last and they're always the ones who get the cure because they're the only ones left alive. I was pretty shocked because I didn't think Greenland would get infected so early.
My sister is on lockdown in California so I think she hasn't been leaving the house much. She's meant to be staying 2 metres apart from her housemates but none of them are doing that because there isn't any point since they use the same bathroom and everything.
I've found out that my exam is going online and I have to complete 2 questions with 1000 words each and I have 24 hours to do it, so it seems less stressful than going in to do an exam. I still don't know about my dissertation and my supervisor is so bad with contacting me so it's pretty stressful.
My local GP (doctors) is pretty much closed because no one can get an appointment unless it's urgent. I was meant to have an appointment to get my medicine but they weren't seeing people so the nurse only gave me the pills for a month instead of 3 or 6 months. It's a bit worrying because I'll have to order my pills again next month and the place could be fully closed by then.
I've heard that driving tests are being postponed and my theory test is booked for the 20th of April but I think it will be cancelled. So I'll probably cancel my driving lessons because they're quite expensive and there's no point in doing them when I might not be able to do the test for months.
I did some coursework today and watched TV. I also played Skyrim VR and I like it but I find it hard to play it for more than an hour because it gives me a headache. I watched the movie The Midnight Meat Train, which had Bradley Cooper and Vinnie Jones in it. It's about a serial killer who kills people on the train at night and it was very gory, so parts of it were hard to watch. The end completely shocked me, but I won't spoil it in case you want to watch it.
More rice was delivered to my house, so we should have enough food to last a month or two. And we're getting toilet roll from Amazon since there's none in the shops.
I'm not coughing as much as I was so I must be fine. And my cough from two weeks ago was never fully away, I assume that something irritated my throat last night.
I haven't been sleeping well for the last few weeks and I think it's because I'm so worried about what's going on. Tomorrow I'll be volunteering in a charity shop so I'm hoping I won't get infected there. That's all for today.
