Day 56 12th May 2020

There's now 4,193 cases in Northern Ireland, 226,463 in the UK and 23,242 in Ireland. Northern Ireland is ignoring Boris' exit plan which I think is good because I think he's made a lot of bad decisions. He's trying to take the UK out of lockdown too early, he should at least wait until there's less than a thousand infections a day.

When I got up I watched You've Been Framed and there were loads of people falling off their trampolines which was funny.

I drove my mum to the shop and it took me a few times to reverse out the drive. Then a car pulled put on me and I had to break, I couldn't believe how quickly they came out their driveway.

When I got home I played a bit of Hogwarts Mystery and I love the game. I played it back in November but I stopped for a while and I've started playing it again. I'm on year 4 and they only have 7 years, so I'll be sad when I've finished all of it.

Then I went downstairs and I watched Celebrity SAS and the first thing the had to do was go from one platform to another. It was up at 30 feet or something and they had to go across on a tiny rope, they had to lie on their stomachs and pull themselves across. When they got halfway they had to hang there and then get back up.

None of the celebrities were able to do it and they were shouting at Brendan because he didn't do it. I thought they were very hard on him and they didn't complain about the others.

They had to carry different things in the second task, I think there were cans, a log and a tire. Joey was in charge of one team and Brendan was in charge of the other team. Unfortunately Brendan's team came last and they complained about him again.

There was a bit where they had to carry each other and Brendan had to carry Tony. He was finding it hard to breathe, I assume because Tony's so heavy and he dropped him a few times. Ant and the others were going mad at him. I really think they were too harsh on Brendan.

They all had to go in the freezing water and stay there for 30 minutes and the waves were going over their heads. I thought that was a bit much, they could've got hypothermia! Then they had to do an army crawl out of the water and they wanted the celebrities to keep their bums down. They said Brendan's was raising too much so they made him go back into the water and crawl out again.

They were horrible to Brendan this week! I honestly think they just choose someone to bully every few days. They're so mean and Brendan was nearly crying, I felt really sorry for him.

They had to send someone home and they sent Brendan home, but I think they were stupid. I don't think he did any worse than the others.

After that I watched The Graham Norton Show. Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan were on and they were talking about their show Rob vs. Romesh. There was a funny bit where Romesh talked about needing to sit away from Ron on the plane but Rob still got out of his seat to talk to him.

Oti Mabuse was on and it was great because she showed her Strictly Come Dancing trophies and then she danced with a guy who I assume is her husband or boyfriend. It was great seeing her dance.

Then Sandra Oh was on and they showed a clip from Killing Eve where she was fighting with Vilanelle. I love the show, but I'll watch it when the third season is finished so that I can binge watch it.

Sandra talked about some of her movies and I had no idea that she was in Bean, the first Mr. Bean movie. She was also in The Princess Diaries which I watched a few months ago and I recognised her in it.

They showed a video of Sandra with her chickens and it was really funny because she was imitating their noises. I thought she seemed really friendly on the show and it was nice seeing her on.

I found out that Niall Horan was meant to be on but he was sick. I was so disappointed! They got me all excited, making me think he was on. Him and Harry are my favourites from One Direction. I hope Niall will get another chance to go on the show. And I hope he gets better soon.

Then I watched Fight Club, I knew the twist at the end because I'd accidentally found spoilers for it ages ago. I'd watched it with my friends so I knew some of the scenes but I didn't remember a lot of it.

It's hard to watch movies with my friends because they talk pretty much the whole time and it's so annoying. When I watch a movie I don't like much talking during it because it distracts me. But the guys are always making jokes or talking or attacking each other. It doesn't help that they get drunk either, so I normally just end up napping.

Anyway it's a movie with Ed Norton, Brad Pitt, Helena Bonham Carter and Meat Loaf in it. Ed goes to support groups for different conditions even though he doesn't have any of them. One day he meets Helena there and he doesn't like that she's doing the same thing as him by going to all the different support groups.

He later meets Brad and the two of them start up a fight club where people go to fight for free. But they have rules, the most important being not to talk about fight club.

I won't say anymore in case I spoil the movie but I thought it was great. My dad loves it as well but my mum didn't like it. She thought it was too violent and I think she may have been a bit confused.

During the movie my sister told my parents to ring a woman who is either the daughter or granddaughter of a family friend. The family friend is like a grandad to me and when my parents called they found out that he's in hospital. We had been thinking he was dead, I'm glad he isn't, but he has cancer. He went to the hospital thinking he had gallstones but when they went to operate they found a tumour.

I don't know how much of it they got out or what stage the cancer is. I really hope it's treatable and that he'll recover from it. It's so sad that he's got cancer, he's a good friend to our family and he's our plumber as well.

They thought he was going to get put of hospital soon but his liver isn't doing well, it's awful. Although at least he lived a good life because he had a wife, kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

No one can visit him because of the coronavirus which is awful. I'm sure it's horrible for him and his family. I hope he'll get out of the hospital soon and see his family again.

His wife died of cancer about ten years ago, it was so sad. She was the only granny I had because the others died before I was born, she was a great granny.

Cancer really is awful. I hate it! It's killed two people who were very close to me, my mum had it and I was terrified and now my grandad has it. I really wish it wasn't a thing or there was a cure for it, maybe one day it'll be treated easily.

I found out that trees are being cut around where I live at 9am so that will probably wake me up.

Anyway that's it for today, I hope you're all safe and healthy.
