There are now 3,536 cases in Northern Ireland, 171,253 in the UK and 20,612 in Ireland. They're talking about reducing lockdown restrictions soon, so hopefully it'll go well. Boris Johnson was back on answering questions today and he looked a lot better than he had.
When I got up I watched You've Been Framed and it was pretty funny. There were two kittens and one of them was hitting a feather and the other one fell asleep, it was cute and funny.
Then I did some work on my dissertation and it's so annoying, it feels like I'm repeating everything. But it's nearly finished so that's good. And I don't need to worry about words because I have enough now.
I still have an exam to do and I'm really not looking forward to it, I hate exams! And I really can't be bothered with doing more work.
Then I went on Reddit and the original Star Trek series was on in the background. I watched it a few years ago and I loved it. The new movies are great as well, but it's so sad that Anton Yelchin the actor who played Chekhov died. He was very young and he was a great actor.
Then I watched House of Games and they had a round where everything is backwards. They play songs backwards and I love trying to guess them. One of the songs they had on was Chasing Cars, which they use a lot in Grey's Anatomy. I got the answer half right because I knew the song but I called it, "if I lay here." I also wrote some of the next chapter of The Rehabilitated.
I watched Taxi Driver which is a movie with Robert De Niro in it. He's a taxi driver in the movie and it's pretty much about his life. I don't want to say much in case I spoil it, I loved the movie. It was funny seeing Robert De Niro so young, because most of the movies I've seen him in he's quite old. There was also the famous line, "Are you talking to me?" It was quite weird because I'd always imagined another person in the scene but it was just Robert De Niro looking into the mirror.
Then I watched two episodes of Grey's Anatomy. Richard visited Maggie and she felt really bad for killing Sabie. It's even worse because her uncle is trying to sue her for Sabie's death, which is really sad.
Koracick was complaining about Bailey taking time off and then she told him about her miscarriage. He told Bailey about his wife having miscarriages and he said they lit a candle for the babies they lost. I thought it was good that Koracick shared that with Bailey and it's nice to see the sweeter side of him.
Amelia told Link that the baby may not be his and at first he was fine with it, but then he changed his mind and he wanted to find out who's the father. He doesn't know what he'll do if the baby is Owen's. I really want them to stay together because Amelia needs a sweet guy like Link.
Teddy lost her ring and she had to tell Owen and they looked for the ring. It ended up being inside baby Leo, so they had to wait until he pooed it out.
There's also a mother in the hospital and she has two kids, one of them is adopted. Their father died in the hospital so they don't want to leave the mum and I feel so sorry for them. The mum was in for a simple surgery, I think she'd had her appendix removed. Unfortunately things went wrong when she was recovering and she had fluid around her heart or something and they don't know what caused it. I have a feeling that this poor mother will be killed off like most long term patients.
Levi went to visit his uncle who was dying and he told him that he's gay, unfortunately the uncle died when he said that. Levi thought that he'd caused his uncle to die because he told him that he's gay. Later in the show Levi found out that his uncle was gay as well and he'd had a boyfriend for years.
Richard and Catherine decided to separate and they had a dinner to tell Maggie and Jackson and Jackson invited Vic, who then invited Dean. It was very awkward and there was a lot of arguing. At one point I thought Richard and Catherine might try to work things out but he wanted her to apologise for him being fired but she wouldn't.
I've always thought Richard was too good for Catherine because he's very sweet and she seems pretty bossy and unforgiving at times. It was never going to work out with Catherine not trusting Richard, she literally thought he was cheating on her when he wasn't.
That's it for today, I hope you're all well.
