Coronavirus Diary

Day 52 8th May 2020

There are now 4,022 cases in Northern Ireland, 211,364 in the UK and 22,541 in Ireland. Northern Ireland is going to be in lockdown for at least another three weeks, I'm fine with it. But I do miss my friends and fast food places and restaurants, although I can wait.

When I got up I watched Young Sheldon and the house beside Sheldon's was up for sale. Sheldon found out and he was trying to pick someone who he thought would be a good neighbour. He found out that pastor Jeff was going to be his neighbour and he was fine with it until he found out that the wife is pregnant. It was pretty funny.

Missy had to play against her boyfriend in baseball and the coach was letting her sit out. They were losing so Missy was put on and the boy got three strikes so he was out and Missy won. She was worried that he would stop liking her but he held her hand. It was so cute how excited she got.

Then I drove my mum to the shop and she got Club Orange for me because I haven't had it in ages. I used to get Fanta and Club Orange a lot since I would get it at the cinema, fast food places and when my friends came over.

There were a lot of cars on the road, it's hard to believe how busy it is. People are meant to be staying in their houses but instead they're out driving.

When I got home I watched The Office and it was Valentine's Day. It was funny because Phyllis got loads of gifts. I felt sorry for Pam because she didn't get anything. And poor Kelly, she really likes Ryan but he has no interest in her.

Dwight had to do a speech because he had sold the most and he was really nervous. Michael did the speech until Dwight went onto the stage and no one liked Michael's speech. But they loved Dwight's speech, which Jim had advised him on. Jim had looked at what dictators did in their speeches and he told Dwight how to do the speech. It was pretty funny.

Then I watched Philadelphia which is a movie with Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington and Antonio Banderas in it. Tom and Denzel were lawyers at different firms and Tom got fired because people found out that he had AIDS.

Tom got Denzel to be his lawyer and he was very homophobic, but he took on the case because Tom had been wrongly fired. Antonio Banderas was the boyfriend in the movie.

Chandra Wilson who is Bailey in Grey's Anatomy was in the movie. She was quite young in it and there was a really funny bit where she put makeup on Tom to make his skin look a more natural colour. But he ended up looking orange, it was so funny.

I really enjoyed the movie and Tom Hanks won an Oscar for the leading role in the movie.

After that I watched The Good Fight. Maia went to work with Blum in a firm that he was starting and then Dianne offered to make her a partner. But she decided to stay with Blum. I hope she'll stay on the show because she's one of my favourites.

There was a really funny bit where Kurt, Dianne's husband was at one of Trump's speech things and he didn't clap at all. Then he was removed from the audience.

The secret group got a man killed by calling the police, who sent in a SWAT team and they shot him. Dianne confessed that the woman who started the group was actually a fraudster and the texts they'd been getting from her were fake.

Dianne was threatened by the group and at the end of the episode Dianne and Kurt were in bed talking and a SWAT team was going into their house. One of them will probably be killed or severely injured which is sad because I really like both of them. I won't find out for a while either because that was the end of the season.
