Coronavirus Diary

Day 85 10th June 2020

There are now 4,818 cases in Northern Ireland, 290,143 in the UK and 25,231 in Ireland. Again there were no deaths in Northern Ireland which is really good, I hope it stays that way.

When I got up I watched The Office and Ryan invited Michael to his university to do a speech so that he would get a better grade. Ryan was saying that the company would be useless in ten years and that they'd be out of business, but Michael couldn't hear what was being said. Then Michael was giving his speech and it was pretty entertaining, but he was told that they asked questions. They started asking questions and Michael was very defensive and he was mad with Ryan.

As punishment Ryan was moved to another part of the office and he's near Kelly. I love her, I think she's a bit like me, unfortunately Ryan doesn't seem interested in her at all, I feel sorry for her.

There was a bat in the office and everyone was so scared, it was funny. I think bats are really cute, but unfortunately they have loads of diseases and they can spread to humans. Meredith was stuck in the bathroom because of the bat and Dwight went in to catch it and it went near Meredith's head so Dwight put the bag over her head, it was so funny. 

Pam was at an art exhibition and barely anyone was looking at her art, Roy went to see it. There was a bit where Oscar and his boyfriend were looking at it and the boyfriend was giving a negative opinion on the art and Pam was right behind them, I felt so sorry for her.

Thankfully Michael went to see Pam's art and he loved it. He even took the painting of the office building and hung it up at work.

Michael and Jan told people that they were dating and they had a bit of an argument. I think Jan liked the thrill of the secret relationship.

Everyone went out for drinks and Toby was so sweet, he spent ages trying to get a toy duck for Pam because she said she liked it when they went in. 

Pam said she didn't want secrets between her and Roy, so she told him about kissing Jim. He got really angry and trashed the bar, he's so horrible. Then Pam ended things with him.

Roy went to work and he nearly attacked Jim! It was a bit of a shock. Thankfully Dwight used pepper spray on Roy and stopped him from attacking Jim. He wanted to thank Dwight for saving him, but Dwight wouldn't accept any kind of gift. At the end of the episode Jim saw Dwight kissing Angela so he said they were even because he would keep their secret.

Darryl was asking for a raise and Michael was trying different negotiating techniques that he'd found on Wikipedia, it was pretty funny. Darryl saw how much Michael earned and he got Michael to ask for a raise, so Michael went to meet Jan and he got a 12% raise. The funniest bit was when Michael threatened to withhold sex if she didn't give him a raise and Toby was saying he thought it was the first time it'd happened.

They had to do a health and safety talk and they got to see how dangerous the warehouse was. Darryl was saying only trained people could use the forklift and he mentioned that Michael had caused an accident recently. Darryl had been up on a ladder and Michael pulled it away from him and asked, "How's it hanging?" It made me laugh so much, but I was shocked that anyone would do that. Thankfully Darryl only had a broken ankle or something like that, it could've been a lot worse.

Then they went to hear the health and safety from the office and their talk was about lack of exercise and having depression. Michael thought it wasn't interesting so he decided to do a practical demonstration.

He said how depression could lead to suicide, so he decided to jump off the roof and onto a trampoline, they tested it with a melon first and bounced off and smashed onto Stanley's car. 

They got a bouncy castle instead but didn't test it. Everyone was called out and they thought he was faking it until they saw the bouncy castle. They realised he was going to jump onto it and get seriously injured or actually die, so Darryl, Jim and Pam talked him down from the roof.

There was a watermark on some of the paper sent out and it was two cartoon characters having sex. There were a lot of angry customers and it was pretty funny seeing Angela trying to deal with them, she got so annoyed. 

Michael got the press involved and invited a customer in to talk. He apologised and gave her a check type thing for her to get free paper, I thought it was pretty generous, but she didn't accept his apology. It was so awkward seeing Michael not knowing what to say, he just kept apologising.

Jim and Andy went to a school to talk to the principal and Andy saw his girlfriend at the school. He thought she was maybe some kind of teacher, but Jim said she was a student. Andy was shocked, it was pretty funny, although I don't know why she wouldn't have said that she's in school. She could've got Andy in a lot of trouble with the law.

Then I watched Jumanji: The Next Level which is a movie with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and a few more famous people. They went back into Jumanji because Spencer went in and they had to save him.

I liked it and thought parts were funny but I definitely prefer the original and the first of the sequels. I think my main problem was that the characters who they played in the last game were all switched round. Like Spencer was the character Bravestone in the first movie and then in this one his grandad was Bravestone for most of the movie, I felt it didn't work. I still enjoyed the movie though.

Unfortunately my dad hated it and said it was a waste of money.

Then I watched The Sopranos and Dr. Melfi was in another place seeing patients and Tony told her that she could come back, but she wouldn't treat him. One of her patients had killed herself because Dr. Melfi wasn't there for her, I'm sure that would be horrible and she probably feels very guilty.

Chris was working at some kind of company and he was sleeping in his office until Adriana took him out. When he was gone two guys beat up another guy in the office and Tony wasn't happy about it so he had to talk to Chris.

Chris was talking to the guys who'd beat up the man and Adriana was there as well. He got mad with her and he hit her and then she hit him back and left, I really didn't like it because no one should be hurting people close to them.

Pussy came back, I think he said he was getting treatment for his back in Costa Rica.

Tony's sister Janice arrived and she was looking after their mother. She was talking about buying the mother's house and them living together. For some reason she was going to get a DNR for her mother and she tried talking to Tony about it but he kept saying his mum is dead to him.

There was a protest going on outside a construction company because they didn't have any black workers and it seemed like they wouldn't hire any. I think Tony had some kind of connection to the company so him and a few others went and beat up the protestors, I thought it was really bad, especially when they weren't hurting anyone.

Gregory Alan Williams was in the episode and it was nice seeing him in it because I love him from Baywatch. He played a cop on Baywatch and he was pretty funny and sweet in it, he was one of my favourites.
