Coronavirus Diary

Day 79 4th June 2020

There's 4,773 cases in Northern Ireland, 281,661 in the UK and 25,142 in Ireland. I really hope there's a vaccine soon because I really don't want a second wave in the Autumn.

When I got up i watched a few episodes of The Office. Dwight had an initiation for Ryan and it seemed kinda creepy but funny. Ryan wasn't enjoying it so they went drinking instead. 

They celebrated Diwali and Ryan met Kelly's family and he didn't seem to like them. Michael talked to Kelly's parents and after talking to them he proposed to Carol, it was so awkward! They hadn't been dating for very long so she rejected him and it seems like they're over. Then Michael was sitting outside on his own and Pam went out to talk to him. He tried to kiss her, I kinda saw it coming, she seemed very creeped out by it.

Michael was told that his branch was closing and he was really upset and a few others were worried as well. He went to someone's house to get them to let the branch stay open. The branch that Jim was at ended up closing instead because the head of the company left. I'm glad that things worked out.

Then I watched You've Been Framed and there was a really funny bit where a kid was in a toy car and they ran over another kid. I find those videos very funny. There was a cute husky puppy and it pooed on the bed, the kids went mad.

After that I watched The Breakfast Club which is a movie about teens who seem different and they all get detention together. They all end up getting to know each other during the detention. I liked the movie, but I do think it's overrated because I've always heard that it's a great movie.

I've started watching The Sopranos and I'm enjoying it so far. Tony is a mob boss and he has a panic attack so he had to go and see a psychiatrist. There ducks that stayed at his house for a while and I thought they were cute, but apart from Tony everyone was uninterested. They left and Tony was upset.

Tony's mum seems quite mean and it doesn't help that she probably has dementia. She looks really similar to a teacher who I didn't like at school, so that doesn't help. There was a bit where she was on the phone with Tony and the pan went on fire. She went over and poured water on it but that made it worse and she was freaking out. Tony finally got her into a fancy nursing home, even though she didn't want to go.

Christopher is Tony's nephew and he stole from a truck that was owned by another boss, so he had to give Tony 15 thousand. Then his friend Brendan talked about stealing from another truck, but Chris said he wasn't going to help. Brendan stole from the truck anyway and the driver got killed because one of the guy dropped his gun and it shot the driver. The truck was owned by the same boss and I really think Brendan will end up getting killed.
