Day 144 8th August 2020

There's 6,064 cases in Northern Ireland, 309,763 in the UK and 26,644 in Ireland. There's over 5 million cases in America which is shocking.

I practiced some of my driving theory and passed one test, but failed the other by 1 point. I really hope I'll pass the test.

When I got up I watched Step Brothers which is a movie with Will Ferrell and John C. Riley in it. They were both living at home, but then their parents got married and they weren't getting along. The dad made them go for interviews and by that time they'd realised how similar they were and got along.

I thought the movie was pretty funny and it was enjoyable.

Then I watched The Witcher and the start was kinda scary because there was a screeching beast attacking another witcher. Geralt had to go and deal with it and they both stayed alive, but the beast became a girl again because a man had cursed the father.

Yennefer was meant to be given to some man, but a council changed their minds and put her with a different man who she didn't want to go with. Then she broke up with that guy she'd been seeing and she got some kind of surgery or magic ritual to make her beautiful. The surgery made her look a lot better, but she can't have children now.

I watched The Office and there was a fundraiser, which Andy crashed. He showed up as Erin's date and Kevin was going on about how awkward it was. He was going on about how he was fine and he was writing a musical space opera.

Dwight was going round guessing the price of everything, not realising that it was actually an auction, it was really funny. He ended up winning everything and it was over 30,000 dollars, but he realised he had to pay that and ran out.

Oscar was talking to Angela's husband and he gave his phone number to Oscar and said to call him after 9pm or something. Oscar thought he was flirting, so he went and told everyone, but they thought it was just to get his vote.

Then Jim went over and got his number as well, so Oscar thought they were right.

Andy got David to invest in Dunder Mifflin because he'd become a millionaire with Suck It because the military bought it. Andy went into work and got a job as a janitor and everyone felt sorry for him and he was messing up and acting crazy. David was late and Andy was telling them how David had bought Dunder Mifflin, but they all thought he was delusional.

Then David came in and told them that Andy was telling the truth. Andy will get his job back as the manager which is good.

Robert had shut down a branch when he was drunk, so I'd say he'll lose his job, especially when David will probably take over.

Dwight was offering family photos and Jim thought it was a prank for him, but Pam brought in the kids. It was really funny because when they were getting the photos taken Jim was very protective of the kids but nothing bad happened.

Everyone else was encouraged to bring in their kids and Darryl brought in his and then Val joined the picture, it was really sweet. She'd better dump her boyfriend because he's way too controlling and jealous, I think she'd be cute with Darryl.

The senator came in and asked why Oscar hadn't called, I got the impression that he was interested in Oscar. Then he went to get a family photo, but Angela wasn't keen. They got photos anyway and Dwight was trying to get DNA from the baby, it was really funny.

The baby needed its nappy changed, so Dwight got that and ran out to his car with it. Angela saw him and chased him. He got Mose to help him and she started following him instead of Dwight, it was a good trick.

Dwight got to the hospital for the test and then Angela joined him and it was going to take ages for the test, but Dwight was going to sit and wait. They held hands and then Dwight kissed her, for a few seconds she didn't kiss back, but then she did. That was how they left the end of the season.

After that I watched The Terminal which is a movie with Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta Jones, Stanley Tucci, Diego Luna and Zoe Saldana in it. Tom played Viktor, a man who arrived in New York, but had to stay at the airport because his country was in a war and he didn't have a proper Visa or something.

The manager had just expected him to leave, but he stayed. Viktor started learning English and found ways to make money for food.

I thought the movie was pretty funny and sweet, it was a very good movie.

After that I watched The Prodigal Son and the main guy in it (Jesus from The Walking Dead) is the son of a serial killer (Michael Sheen. He has nightmares a lot and he has chains to hold him down, otherwise he gets up and starts walking about.

There was someone copying his dad, so he had to go back and talk to his dad about the case. They thought the killer was a BDSM dominant, so they went to his house, but there was a guy handcuffed. There was a bomb near the guy, so Malcolm cut off his hand, it was pretty crazy.

Malcolm found out that the killer was one of his dad's patients, so he figured out who it was and they caught the guy.

Bye for today, I hope you're all safe and healthy.
