Day 11 28th March 2020

There are 324 people infected in Northern Ireland and 15 deaths, 17,089 infected in the UK and 2,415 in Ireland. Boris Johnson and a few other government officials have the coronavirus so I hope they'll be alright.

I don't really like Boris Johnson but I hate Michael Gove even more and he could be the new PM if Boris dies. Plus I wouldn't wish for Boris to die.

When I got out of bed I went downstairs and got breakfast and I ate while I played Sims. I've turned nearly the whole family into vampires and they're a lot easier to look after than normal Sims. The last generation of the challenge is a child now. I'm sure I'll be happy when I've completed the challenge but also a bit sad since it's over.

The teacher called for my dissertation interview and said he could talk later. I was a bit disappointed that he couldn't talk at that moment but I understood that he was busy.

I played Sims for a while longer and then I watched Lip Sync Battle episodes as I wrote one of my stories. I find that music really helps me to write. I would normally use Spotify but I'm sure it would eat up my mobile data since I use the free version.

After that I played Sims again with House of Games on in the background. Then I watched Bear Grills and he was with an actor who's a comedian but I didn't know him so it wasn't as interesting. They were in Arizona and the place looked a bit like the Grand Canyon. It reminded me of 127 Hours where the guy goes out into the dessert and gets his arm trapped. I love that movie and I remember it was a 15 and I was about 12 so I couldn't go and see it at the cinema. My dad bought it when it came out and I couldn't believe it was a 15, there wasn't anything really bad in the movie. The gore wasn't even as bad as other movies I'd seen before it.

I watched Young Sheldon and it was very funny, as normal. Missy kept praying and the mum thought it was great but then Missy was using the cross necklace to give other people good luck. And she was going to take money from her neighbour for the necklace to be rubbed on his bat for good luck. It was pretty funny. And Sheldon went with Georgie to try and get platinum from the side of the road. To get the platinum they needed a 2000 degree boiler thing but their parents wouldn't let them do it. So they went to the school and they nearly set it on fire. It was really funny, especially the way Sheldon thought Georgie had permission from the teachers to do it.

After that I watched part of Gogglebox. I love the show and I get to see parts of other shows that I haven't seen. And the people on it can be quite funny. I thought it was great seeing some of them up dancing to Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

The teacher called when I was eating my dinner and in the panic the food that was on my fork spilled onto the table. Thankfully it was only rice and mushrooms so it wasn't too messy. I talked to him for about 20 minutes and my mum will transcribe it for me tomorrow.

I watched the rest of Gogglebox and then I watched Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. I thought it was funny how much Ant had to change, but the funniest part was when he came out with eyeshadow and lipstick on. They showed old clips which I'd already seen which was a bit disappointing. I wish they'd shown ones from like ten years ago because I only started watching it in the last few years. It was still a good show though and it's unfortunate that next week is the last week of it.

Ant and Dec would normally be back on TV in a month or two for Britain's Got Talent but I don't know if that'll even happen this year. They might show the audition stage but they wouldn't be able to show the live finals because of Covid-19.

The last show I watched was The Chase celebrities. I felt really sorry for Rylan Clark-Neal because he'd been on before and lost and he went for £99,000 and he lost again. I loved watching him on X-Factor all those years ago and he was good on Celebrity Gogglebox and Strictly it Takes Two as well. Unfortunately only two celebrities got through to the final and Anne beat them.

I used to dislike Anne because I thought she was very rude and tough. But I love her now since I saw her on I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here. I was surprised by how vulnerable she seemed on I'm a Celebrity and we got to see her softer side. So now she's my favourite Chaser.

And The Beast on The Chase reminds me of my friend Nathan, which is pretty funny. It's mainly the way he looks but my friend isn't as overweight as The Beast.

Anyway that's all I have to say today. I hope you're all doing well. Bye.
