Coronavirus Diary

Day 25 11th April 2020

There are over 100 deaths in Northern Ireland with 1,717 cases. There are 78,991 cases in the UK and 8,928 in Ireland. It's not good that so many people are being infected and dying. I hope they'll get a vaccine because it'd be awful if this became a yearly thing like the flu. But in good news 407,302 people have recovered worldwide.

Today I got up and I watched Bondi Rescue and there was a fire in one of the buildings near them. And Maxi was saying that if he wasn't a lifeguard he'd be a firefighter. Now Maxi is a firefighter and he's changed to being a part-time lifeguard.

Then I worked more on my PowerPoint and I had The Chase on in the background. They had celebrities on and all four of them got through to the final and they'd built up £140,000. It was the most amount of money I'd seen being played for and I really wanted the celebrities to win. They were 18 steps ahead, but unfortunately the Beast caught them.

After that I watched a few episodes of Spongebob and it was funny seeing Squidward jealous of Spongebob with the paper. He literally gave Spongebob everything he owned to get the paper! I thought Spongebob looked cute with Squidward's shirt on.

Spongebob also went into everyone's dreams and I thought it was cool seeing Gary talking. But I felt sorry for Spongebob when everyone was mad at him for going into their dreams.

I think Spongebob is a great show and I love watching it again. And because I haven't seen it for about ten years I don't remember most of the episodes.

Then I watched House of Games and played some Hungry Shark. I have the megalodon and I'm trying to get it to the highest level so that I can get the next shark.

Then I watched My Spy and my dad kept saying he'd seen trailers and it looked rubbish but I loved it. I thought it was pretty funny and really sweet. It's a movie with Dave Bautista in it and he's working for the CIA and a young girl and her mum are under surveillance. The girl finds out that he's spying on her, so she takes a video and threatens to tell her mum. So he has to do what she says.

My mum liked it but unfortunately my dad didn't like it. I think he thought it was unrealistic that a child would be so smart, but I didn't care.

I watched Britain's Got Talent and I loved watching it. I didn't like the magicians who got through because I could see how they were doing the tricks. I don't normally notice cards being moved about but I could see it this time, so it shows how bad they were.

I thought the contortionist was really good and I think it'd be cool to be able to that. Although I've heard that contortionists have muscle problems and stuff.

I liked the group who went on and sung This is Me from The Greatest Shownan. David gave them the golden buzzer so they're through to the semi-finals. But I've no idea when those will happen because they'll have to be put on hold because of the coronavirus.

There was a guy on with an alien puppet and I thought the alien was so cute. It was pretty funny as well but the judges and audience didn't like him for some reason. So he got buzzed off.

My favourite act was the dancers from India. The acrobatics they were doing was amazing and they got 6 or 7 people on top of each other's shoulders.
