Coronavirus Diary

Day 132 27th July 2020

There's 5,912 cases in Northern Ireland, 300,111 in the UK and 25,892 in Ireland. It's really bad that people are still dying and that the number of cases are still rising, I really thought the virus would've been disappearing by now, but it's getting worse in some countries.

I got ready and went to Barnardo's and I was very stressed because of the letter from work, so I didn't talk quite as much as usual. Although I did get a top and jack which I like and I've got a reference from the manager for a job in childcare.

I went to my work to talk to my manager and I was panicking, I was so worried about being criticised. My manager seemed to imply that the woman shouldn't have been sending out the letter and a few people got letters because it was a performance review. He said not to worry about it so I felt a lot better and I don't feel stressed, but I'll try to work quicker because that was the problem with my work.

Then I got a McDonald's which was nice. I  went home and watched Malibu Rescue. There was a boy who was going near the baby turtles, so Gina had to go and stop him, she ended up knocking him down from the water jetpack thing. She had to go out and save him, but he'd faked being unconscious and joked about kissing her.

Gina found out that he was the son of a rich man who helped the beach a lot, but she said that didn't give him an excuse. He threw a party for them and they started drinking slush puppies as a competition, but he won, so they'd both won something. They wanted a decider, so they went up to cliffs and the guy threw his jacket or something in and they were going to jump in and whoever got it first would win. The rock crumbled and the guy fell in, so Gina had to save him.

Eric was nervous and clambering around Lizzie because he realised that he liked her, she noticed and went looking for him since he didn't go to the party. They ended up seeing each other at the party and they both admitted their feelings, it was really sweet.

They were all clearing kelp from the beach and Tyler got kidnapped along with Eric, Brody and a few others. Before I saw Brody I'd thought he was the one who'd kidnapped Tyler and Eric, but it was actually the captain. He was initiating them into a secret society and they had to write their secrets in a book in case they needed to be used in the future.

They put the kelp into the Captain's enemy's car and he was happy. They still had to do more to get in, but then the girls pointed out how sexist it was, so Eric and Tyler sabotaged the group.

After that I watched The Office and Will Ferrell had a few people in the inner circle and they were all men and Pam and a few other women were complaining about it being sexist. Will denied being sexist and Jim was out of the inner circle because he'd talked to Will about it.

Will was pretending to juggle and it was quite funny to watch, he played fake basketball as well and Jim wanted to see him play real basketball. They went down to the warehouse and he got a real basketball and he was going to throw it into the hoop, he ran up, dunked the ball, but he held on. The whole net fell on top of him and he had to go to the hospital.

They had to get an acting manager, Jim turned it down so it was given to Dwight and he was making changed that no one liked. He got a holster and out his gun in it and then he accidentally fired it and everyone was mad, he got the position taken from him.

Gabe was talking to Andy and telling him not to date Erin and made him promise that he wouldn't. He tried to tell Erin that he loved her, but she was taking a break from dating. He really is a creep,but thankfully Jo transferred him.

They had to find a new manager so they were holding interviews all day, most of them seemed either bad or creepy. Jim Carey also made a brief appearance in the episode which was cool.

I think either Darryl or Andy should get the job because they seemed the most suited to it and the most normal. They didn't say who got the position and it was the end of season 7.

Erin tried to ask Andy on a date but he rejected her, it was pretty strange because I thought he liked her. I really hope they'll get back together because they're sweet as a couple.

Toby looked very thin in the episode, like an unhealthy weight. Mayne the actor was sick or wanted to lose weight, he definitely looked better before.

After that I watched Inferno which is a movie with Tom Hanks, Felicity Jones, Irrfan Khan and Ben Foster. There was a plague that was going to be released because the word was overpopulated and Tom Hanks had to stop it from happening.

The movie was quite confusing for a while, but the second half was definitely better. I enjoyed the movie.

Then I watched Money Heist. The guy from the junkyard was going to identify the professor, so he found a police car, got into it and threatened the guy. He undid the software thing and left.

Berlin saw on the news that they were saying he was a sex trafficker and they said a few other bad things, he blamed Denver because he'd worn his jacket in a car and left the button there. Berlin went with Helsinki and his cousin to find Denver and they found him outside the toilet.

Berlin found out that Monica was alive and it was very tense, they all had guns pointed at each other as well. Thankfully Denver, Monica and Nairobi didn't get hurt, it would've been great if Berlin had been killed.

Alison was getting bullied by her classmates because they thought she was going to get out when they weren't Nairobi intervened and gave Alison a pep talk. 

Raquel went in to make sure that all the hostages were alive because they'd heard gunshots and screaming. Everyone was fine, but Arturo told Alison to go and hide so that the police would go in and get them.

Alison went and hid in a safe, thankfully the professor had seen it, so he told them where she was hiding and Raquel was satisfied.

The police guy who likes Raquel found the professor's lair and it was very tense, the guy tried the cider and he probably wanted to investigate but he was called away. It's clear that he's suspicious of the professor which isn't good. 

I really want the robbers to get away with it, the only one I don't like is Berlin and I'm not really fussed on Hrlsinki or his cousin, but I really like the rest of them. I'd say my favourites are Denver, Nairobi, Rio, the professor and Raquel.
