Day 43 29th April 2020

There are now 3,463 cases in Northern Ireland, 165,221 in the UK and 20,253 in Ireland. The infections seem to be a bit less each day which is good. Although loads of deaths in care homes weren't being reported and I really hope they'll be safe in the care homes. But it's dangerous everywhere and I think that a lot of older people have died, which is very sad.

My sister sent a link to a news article and it was about graffiti near where I live. It said Taigs out. Taigs is a derogatory term for a Catholic and my family aren't religious but we would still identify as Catholic. I thought it was quite worrying and my mum said she won't be walking in that area anymore.

Unfortunately there's still conflict between Catholics and Protestants. It's really stupid and I don't even care about what religion someone is, I'm friends with everyone. Most of my friends are Protestants and we get along really well, I wish other people didn't care about religion and would accept people as they are.

I was going to watch Ninja Warrior when I got up because I thought there was a new series of it, but it was the series from last year. I was quite disappointed because I love watching Ninja Warrior.

I went to a Ninja Warrior course a few months ago and it was pretty fun. Although I couldn't do most of the obstacles because I'm not strong and fit. I tried my best. I only got past two obstacles, one was stepping stone type things which were squidgy and the other was these dangling poles which I had to stand on and get across.

I found the first course fine but I couldn't get past most of the obstacles. The second course was terrifying! It was so high and I'm really scared of heights. There was a log thing that I had to walk along and it was quite high up and it started spinning, I didn't want it to speed up because I thought I could end up falling a strange way and hurt myself. I jumped off it and moved onto the next obstacle.

The next one was the hanging poles and I found them very scary because it was high up and they swung about. Thankfully one of the people who was working there held the pole still and helped me. The people there were really friendly and helpful.

The next obstacle was hideous! They were really high up and it was these boxes and there was a ledge for your feet. The first box was alright but I was really scared and I was shaking so much. The second box was really bad, I had to move from the first box to the second which was really scary. I was on the second box and I had to move from the front of it to the right side but the ledge was super thin! I tried to get round but I fell off. I didn't like it at all!

My dad was taking videos of us doing the obstacles and he got a video of me falling off the box, it was kinda funny. I put it on YouTube, so you could probably find it there if you wanted to see it.

My sister got past that obstacle but she said it was really difficult and she had to completely lean on top of the box and grip with her hands. The third box tilted, so I know I wouldn't have got past that. My sister was a lot better than me and she completed pretty much all of the obstacles.

The last bit was the wall which you're meant to run at and get to the top. I was kinda sared of doing it because the only way to get down from the top was to go down a pole. I failed and I whacked my knees, they were so sore!

I got pretty badly injured from the course because I could barely move my arms for at least a week, the pain was awful when I tried to straighten my arns. And my knees had red bruises, I couldn't even kneel without my knees being in agony.

It was an interesting experience but it was also very scary and the pain from it was awful. I wouldn't go again unless I was watching, but it was good to try it out.

Anyway when I found out that it wasn't a new series of Ninja Warrior I watched Impractical Jokers. Unfortunately it's only old episodes because I've seen all the new ones. It was really funny near the end because they all ganged up against Murr, so that he would lose. So they all did what the others told them to do.

For Murr's punishment his dad was there and he had to talk about technology. They made Murr go through the photos on his phone and there was one where he was holding up his blanket which he's had since he was a kid. There was another where he was playing virtual reality and he was only wearing a towel. But the funniest bit was when there was a video of Murr dancing, it was so random. They also got Murr to call a stripper and his dad talked to her, it was really funny.

After that I did some work on my dissertation. There are technology terms in the dissertation so I had to explain what they are.

Then I had a shower and when I got downstairs I watched House of Games. Rachel Riley and JB were on. I wanted JB to do well because I love JLS but he only got two points throughout the whole show! It was disappointing. Although Rachel won and she's my second favourite, so that's good.

I watched The Riot Club which is a movie with Max Irons and Sam Claflin in it. It was set in a university at Oxford and I found that interesting because my sister went to a university in Cambridge and they're rivals.

The movie was about a secret club called The Riot Club and it was all posh young men who were in the club. Max played Miles who was a first year and Sam played Alistair who was also a first year and it was clear that they didn't get along.

The Riot Club needed new members so they initiated Miles and Alistair into the group. Miles was dating a girl called Laura and I thought they were really sweet together.

The club pretty much hated poor people and people who weren't posh and they had been banned from a lot of places. They went to a pub that was out of the way and at the start they were just very noisy. But as the night went on things just kept getting worse, I won't say anymore in case you want to watch the movie.

I really enjoyed the movie but parts of it were difficult to watch because it was so hideous. And I was surprised by how horrible Alistair was because anything I've seen Sam in he's so nice. It just shows what a good actor he is.

Then I watched Station 19 and it was pretty mad because loads of people got injured from the car crashing into the bar. Hellmouth had a problem with her leg and Parker had some kind of head injury. The people were blocked inside the bar because the normal exit had collapsed and the fire exit was blocked by a lorry.

There was a couple in the car that crashed and they managed to get the man out of the car. When they were trying to get the woman out she couldn't get her seat belt off, so she took scissors out to cut it. The woman was about to start cutting but the car shifted and the scissors went into her neck. It was pretty gross and she died which was unfortunate.

Andy and Sullivan aren't going to have a relationship because he's worried that they won't get promotions if they date. It's unfortunate because I liked them together.

Everyone else was able to get out so that was a relief. Then I watched Grey's Anatomy and Hellmouth ended up having something wrong around her stomach, thankfully Bailey and Richard got it sorted.

Poor Levi had a broken heart and he'd thought he was having a heart attack. It was so sweet seeing him with Nico and then Nico brought him to see Hellmouth and she forgave him for ratting on Meredith.

Owen proposed to Teddy and she said yes, but I still think she's too good for him. It'd be nice to be proved wrong but he's awful in relationships. When he's single I like him more.

Amelia was going to tell Link that the baby isn't his but then Teddy and Owen announced that they were engaged so she didn't say anything.

That's all for today, I hope you're all doing well.
