Day 157 21st August 2020

There's 6,576 cases in Northern Ireland, 322,280 in the UK and 27,676 in Ireland. There's over 23 million cases and 800,000 deaths worldwide, it's awful.

When I got up I watched The Resident and Conrad broke up with Nic. She was upset, so she stopped her car when she was driving and a family went ahead of her and got caught in a shooting. They were rushed to the hospital, the dad was fine, but the mum and son had been injured, thankfully they all made it. The kid even got feeling back in his toes after having a bullet in his back.

Nic found out that her sister's health was so bad that she needed a kidney transplant, but she had to be sober for 6 months before being considered. Nic said she'd donate her kidney after the 6 months were up because she didn't want her sister having to wait years for one.

There was a pregnant woman in and her baby's heartbeat wasn't what it was meant to be at, so they got her in for a c-section. The baby was healthy and really cute. Devon went to check on her after surgery and there was blood in her bag, so he told her doctor, but the guy said it was fine. I thought he should've checked to be sure nothing was wrong.

The woman was in a lot of pain, so her husband went to the reception area and the woman there was saying that it was normal pain since the woman had just had surgery. She was wrong, the woman looked really sick and she was sweating as well as being in a lot of pain.

Devon went and checked, he said to get a CT scan or something and the woman at reception said they'd do it, but it was very busy. He was saying to get it done right away because he could see how serious it was. He went back again and no CT had been done.

When he went to see the woman there was a lot of blood in the bag, so he called the doctor and said it was an emergency. They finally got a scan for her and rushed her into surgery.

It was too late and she died, it was devastating, it could've been prevented and the poor husband, baby and daughter at home are left without a wife and mother. 

It seemed like the woman at reception and the doctor were racist and that's what Devon implied as well. I couldn't believe how careless they were with the woman, they should've checked on her and done the surgery a lot sooner. 

Dr. Bell said sorry to the husband and decided to look into past deaths and near deaths with pregnancy to find out how they could improve. I think he said there'd be more checking with patients as well, but I think that doctor should've been fired as well.

After that I watched part of Space Force and General Naird went with Dr. Mallaroy to discuss what they'd been spending their money on and why they needed it. Naird was having some trouble and he kept trying to signal to Mallaroy to intervene, it was pretty funny. Mallaroy then helped and explained that they were sending up a 10,000 dollar orange to keep the astronauts spirits up and said they were risking their lives. 

They were dismissed and the air force guy had to stick up for himself.

Erin, Naird's daughter was left with Captain Ali and she was finding it boring until Ali ordered young boys who'd gone to Erin's school to run far.

Then I went to work and there was a customer in, I thought she asked where body spray was, but she'd actually asked about bug spray. It was a wee bit awkward.

When I got home I went on my phone, while my dad was asking for information about it because he was replying to Spotify support. I watched the rest of Space Force as well.

Then I went for a shower, then watched That Awkward Moment, which is a movie with Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Imogen Poots and Mackenzie Davis in it.

Michael's wife was cheating on him and they were getting a divorce, his friends decided to stay single with him and they'd all have hookups with girls.

Miles and Zac were both seeing women, but ended up falling for them, although they didn't want to break their pact.

I loved the movie, my mum thought it was alright and my dad didn't like it.

Then I watched Condor and Kathy went out to the shop to get a phone for Joe. Then he left her and said she should call the police and say she just escaped.

He went to see an old friend and he had to be knocked out because Caleb was so secretive. Then his ex girlfriend gave him her car.

Joe went back for Kathy and she'd been found and questioned by Joubert and a man, but Joubert was suspicious of her. Joubert shot the man and was going after Kathy and Joe, unfortunately she shot Kathy, who died from the injury.
