Day 66 22nd May 2020

There's 4,469 cases in Northern Ireland, 254,195 in the UK and 24,506 in Ireland. The lockdown seems to be easing across the UK and I don't think it's had a negative impact on Northern Ireland.

When I got up I watched You've Been Framed and there was a hideous bit where someone fell on another person and they were both in the air. They were either using a hang glider or a parachute.

I drove to the shop and someone caused me to break because they pulled out in front of me. There was also a branch down because of the wind and I only noticed when I was nearly on top of it, so I had to swerve round it.

I bought my mum a makeup bag, a blanket, chocolates and a birthday card because her birthday is in a few days. We looked for a cake but unfortunately we couldn't find any. So we had to get cupcakes instead.

When I got home I played some Hogwarts Mystery. I kind of wish that they'd give me the time limited side quests now because I have so much free time. It's nearly impossible finish them when I'm going out to see friends and going to work.

Then I went downstairs and I watched Pointless. They had a question about chemical elements and I got a pointless answer, so I was pretty proud of myself.

In the final round the people picked best picture Oscar winners. It had to be a movie that had won the best picture and either best director, best lead or supporting actor and best lead or supporting actress. I thought I would've known a few since I love movies, but the ones I said either scored points, was a wrong answer or wasn't mentioned.

Then I watched Cardinal and the serial killer got a father and daughter tied to trees in the woods. He wanted the father to watch his daughter die, it was very messed up. Cardinal and Lise shot the killer and he was stopped.

Lise is leaving Cardinal and it's quite sad because they'd got together. My mum said there won't be anymore Cardinal because the series is based on books and there's no more books. It's unfortunate because the series was pretty good.

Then I watched the rest of The Big Night In. They had a car as a prize and it seemed pretty great. I liked the bit where Rob Brydon was on, I love him in Would I Lie to You?

After that I started watching Normal People, which is a show set in Ireland. There's a girl, Marianne and she's really smart but outspoken. No one really likes her, not even the teachers because she's quite cheeky.

The son of her mum's cleaner, Connell goes to her school. They talk outside of school and she ends up having her first kiss with him.

They started sleeping together and I liked them together. Connell is popular, so they kept the relationship a secret and there was a dance coming up. Connell was an idiot because he asked another girl to go to the dance with him and Marianne stopped going to school.

After the dance Connell realised how stupid he'd been and he called Marianne but she was at home sleeping. I really hope he'll tell everyone that he loves her and that they'll get together.

I think they're pretty sweet as a couple. Although Connell needs to wise up a bit.

For some reason I've heard about people being obsessed with the chain around Connell's neck. I don't really understand, but maybe it's because I'm not far enough into the show, I've only watched 3 episodes.

Bye for today, I hope you're all well.
