Day 39 25th April 2020

19 2 6

There are now 3,226 cases in Northern Ireland, 148,377 in the UK and 18,561 in Ireland. There's been over 20,000 deaths in the UK which is very sad.

When I got up I was going to watch Station 19 but the sound wasn't working so I had to get my dad to help me. He got the sound working and it showed a spoiler for Grey's Anatomy in the previously part. I thought it had started at the same time as Grey's Anatomy but it actually started at episode 10.

So I watched Pointless instead and they had one where it was the American equivalent to the British word. I was surprised that I didn't know most of them.

I worked more on my dissertation and I've got the quotes from the first transcript finished. I'll do some of the second one tomorrow.

Then I watched two episodes of The Office and Michael burnt his foot on a grill. It was funny because he needed someone to pick him up from his house and the only person who would do it was Dwight. No one really helped Michael the whole day and I thought they were very unsympathetic.

Michael accidentally told people that Jim had a crush on Pam and she found out. It seemed a bit awkward and I can't believe she's going to get married to that controlling boyfriend of hers.

I went for a shower and then I watched The Graham Norton Show and he had a few different celebrities on.

Martin Freeman was talking about a new comedy show and there was a bit where they swore at the kids who were being noisy in the bath. It was pretty funny.

Michael Sheen was on as well and he was talking about his show of the cheating scandal on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. It was so funny because he had a question for Graham and the question was how many sonnets Shakespeare had done. Graham didn't know the answer so he talked about the lifelines, he couldn't ask the audience because no one was there. He went for phone a friend and he called Judi Dench and she got the answer right. I thought it was very entertaining and Michael Sheen even acted as Chris Tarrant.

Then I watched three episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Vic and Jackson were on a hike and there was a tree in the way. Vic lifted it and put it out of the way, which was pretty amazing because the tree looked heavy.

Amelia told Link that she's pregnant and they're going to keep the baby even though they're both scared. Link said he loves her and I think they're a cute couple.

My dad was really annoyed about the spoiler that we found out earlier by seeing the previously on Station 19 and the spoiler we found out was that Bailey is pregnant.

There was a really funny bit where they were trying to revive a patient and when there was a heartbeat Owen turned round and accidentally shocked Koracick in the balls. It was hilarious! It made me laugh so much! But Koracick annoyed me because he took out a restraining order on Owen, it was an accident. So Owen couldn't be in the same room as Koracick.

Teddy went back to working at the hospital and Owen said he'd look after the baby. But Alex got Owen to join his hospital. Then Koracick tried to get Owen to come back but he wouldn't.

Qadri got fired because she kept complaining to Bailey about Meredith being fired. It's quite sad because I really liked Qadri and she seemed really smart.

Meredith had been writing about how hospitals were failing poor people and the people published it as a list and a bad headline about Grey Sloan Memorial. The hospital lost a lot of patients and Meredith tried to apologise but it didn't work and she tried to get the article taken down but they didn't listen.

I don't like the way loads of people are being fired and moving hospitals and I really hope it'll all get sorted and go back to normal soon.

Bye for today, I hope you're all well.
