Coronavirus Diary

Day 50 6th May 2020

There are now 3,934 cases in Northern Ireland, 201,101 in the UK and 22,248 in Ireland. There's been over 30,000 deaths in the UK which is very sad and we're the worst country for deaths in Europe.

When I got up I watched Rob vs. Romesh and they had to do ballet. It was really funny because Romesh was nearly falling over trying to do the spins and Rob was really good. They got to perform in Swan Lake but what they'd practiced got changed.

Then I watched Spongebob and Pearl took over the Krusty Krab and she completely changed it. But it turned out she didn't like working there and it made it easier for Spongebob to fire her. Mr. Krabs needed to get rid of all the decorations that he'd paid for and Spongebob took them, but he's giving up his pay for the year. I thought it was pretty funny.

Then Patrick was jealous of Spongebob because Spongebob had loads of awards and Patrick had none. He ended up copying Spongebob until he got an award.

I played Spider-Man and it's great! In one of the main quests I had to be stealthy and I ended up failing the first time because I was too loud when I was killing a bad guy. I also got to play as MJ and I had to sneak around and move a statue about to get a hidden door to open. It took me a while to get it but it was fun.

After that I watched A History of Violence which is a movie with Viggo Mortensen in it. He played Tom and he had a wife, son and daughter. He was working in a diner and bad people came in and Tom ended up killing them and the town saw him as a hero.

A guy kept calling Tom Joey but he denied being Joey and the guy kept stalking him and his family. I won't say anymore in case I spoil it. I thought the movie was very good and quite tense.

I watched an episode of The Good Fight and Lucca had a celebrity client who she had to help with a divorce. They all thought it was Kim Kardashian but it ended up being Melania Trump. 

They weren't sure if it was really her or an impersonator since it was all done over a phone call. Lucca was told to leave the case alone but she got to meet up with Melania, but I don't know if it was her or an impersonator and it seemed as if Lucca didn't know either.

I'm surprised they're allowed to put things like that on the show because Trump is the president and I thought he'd complain about something like that.

I do like The Good Fight but it's very political, I'd rather they focused on court cases the way The Good Wife did.

When I was going to go up to bed my dad told me about a thing that happened in America recently. He said there was a black man who was seen jogging near a vacant lot and someone called the police on him. An ex police officer and his son went out looking for the guy and they found him and shot him. I was shocked! The guy wasn't doing anything wrong and they just killed him! They should be sent to prison for it, I really hope they will be. It's awful the amount of racism there is in the world, people should not be killed full stop. If that guy had been white no one would've cared, it's ridiculous!
