Coronavirus Diary

Day 80 5th June 2020

There are now 4,776 cases in Northern Ireland, 283,311 in the UK and 25,163 in Ireland. There have been over 40,000 deaths in the UK which is very sad and I hope things will get better.

When I got up I watched The Resident and it was Valentine's Day. There were two men at the hospital together and they were a couple, one of them had an autoimmune disease and dementia or something caused by alcohol abuse from years ago. It was so sad seeing the man being so forgetful and his boyfriend pretending they'd gone on a trip to Europe.

An old woman who was fit died and she was Mina's neighbour. They got an autopsy even though others had put down the wrong cause of death, they found out she had some kind of condition which caused her to have a brain aneurysm. They checked the niece and she had the same condition, thankfully they performed surgery in time.

Conrad was going to a fancy restaurant with Nikki but she had to cancel because she was staying with her sister in rehab. Instead he got a takeout and brought it to her and he gave the reservation to AJ, who then gave it to Mina.

Mina was at the restaurant with Micah and his heart was beating fast and she was worried because he has heart problems. He proposed to Mina, but it was left in a cliffhanger. I couldn't watch the next episode because my dad doesn't like the show.

I took my mum to the shop and I didn't make any mistakes when I was driving. Although I couldn't park the car because my mum told me too late to park it, I got it nearly in, but the back was sticking out. Mum parked it safely for me.

I watched The Office and the two branches merged. I thought it was so funny seeing Michael doing the bonding things, he literally made a rap video with Dwight. He was getting the people from the other branch to sit on a table and an obese guy couldn't get up, Dwight and Michael tried to help him but it didn't work. I felt quite sorry for the guy, then he quit, but Michael fired him instead.

Michael found out that a criminal had been hired and he discovered it was Martin, a new guy from the other branch who was the criminal. There was a bit where Dwight put money in his back pocket and leaned down around Martin, he was trying to get Martin to steal, it was so bad. Martin told them about prison and they were saying that it sounded better than work. Then Michael pretended that he was a prisoner by putting on a bandanna and changing his accent. He talked about how bad it was and it was really funny. Then he left the room and locked them in, it was hilarious.

After that I watched YouYou Been Framed and there were more funny videos.

I watched American History X which is a movie with Ed Norton and Edward Furlong in it. Ed was a racist neo-nazi and he went to prison for killing two black men. When he got out of prison his views changed and he left the racist group he'd been part of. He had to get his younger brother to change as well. I was so shocked by the end of the movie, but I won't spoil it. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but some parts were pretty disturbing.

Then I watched The Sopranos and Meadow and her friend wanted meth so they went to Chris to get it. He didn't want to give it to them, but he was worried about them getting bad meth so he gave it to Meadow.

The suits were returned to the uncle but he wasn't happy. Chris was dragged away and beat up, I actually thought they were going to kill him but thankfully they didn't. He thought he'd been beat up because he gave meth to his cousin, but it was because of the stealing from the trucks. 

The friend Brendan was shot when he was in the bath and he died. I expected him to be killed, so it wasn't a surprise.

Jackie, one of the bosses died, so the uncle took over the position. I was quite surprised because I thought Tony would've wanted it. 

Tony got a guy in the police to find out more about his psychiatrist and the guy ended up following her and beating up her date, it was pretty extreme. Then when Tiny went to see Dr. Melfi she ended up talking about what happened, it was very unprofessional but Tony didn't seem to mind too much.
