Coronavirus Diary

Day 96 21st June 2020

There's 4,870 cases in Northern Ireland, 304,331 in the UK and 25,379 in Ireland. There's over 1 million cases in Brazil now and over 9 million worldwide, it really is scary. I didn't think millions of people would get infected.

I got up and dad was at my computer doing something so I had to wait until he was finished to open the Father's Day presents. My sister forgot to get anything for him, so my mum got chocolates for her. I got him a shower gel, chocolate and a soft teddy.

Then we watched The Office and I realised that I'd missed an episode so I went back and watched it. Stanley was in one of the meetings and he was doing a crossword, Michael asked him something and Stanley got annoyed and shouted at him. Michael was offended and he knew that something needed to be done. Toby gave him advice but Michael ignored it and tried to get Dwight to come up with a plan to get someone to tell Stanley off. Dwight said to give all power to him and he would tell off Stanley but Michael didn't agree to it.

Michael pretended to fire Stanley and he was very annoyed, so Michael had a talk with him. Stanley admitted that he didn't respect Michael and Michael told him not to be disrespectful and they came to an agreement.

Dwight bought Andy's car from him and Andy felt cheated, he really was silly for selling his car.

Toby decided to leave and a party was held for him because Michael was so happy that he was leaving. A woman called Holly replaced Toby and Michael and Dwight automatically disliked her. It was funny because Dwight told her that Kevin was hired because he had a mental disability which made him stupid, so she was nice to him the whole time and helped him often.

Jim paid for fireworks and he was going to propose to Pam, but right when he was about to Andy proposed to Angela. It was so awkward, she just said ok to his proposal.

There was a weight loss thing and whichever branch won would get extra holidays. There was a really funny bit where Michael got his sumo suit on and talked about loving overweight people and saying they're beautiful, it seemed so fake. And he showed loads of pictures, there was even one of a pig.

They had to go for a weigh in each week and they weren't allowed to eat any junk food, it would be way too hard for me to do. Unfortunately another branch beat them.

Michael was asking Jim for advice about his feelings for Holly because he says he's in love with her. Things seemed to be going well, but she got a date and the guy cancelled, she had tickets to something. It was Michael's chance to ask her out, but he tore up the tickets and said he'd pay for them, it was such a waste.

Phyllis found out that Angela was having sex with Dwight and she kept it a secret. I can't believe Angela is getting married to Andy when she still has a thing for Dwight, it's even more strange given that she seems super religious. It seems like she's trying to put Andy off marrying her by having a lot of demands.

Pam went to New York for an art course, so she had to be replaced and there was an older woman there for a while but she was replaced by Ryan. Pam went to the wrong class and she was about to leave when she realised but the woman told her to sit. She ended up staying, I definitely would've explained the situation and left. 

Jim told Pam to meet him halfway and get lunch and she agreed. He asked her to marry him and she said yes, it's great, I love them together.

Ryan seems interested in Kelly, but she has no interest in him. I'm glad because she deserves someone better than him, she's still with Darryl so hopefully it'll work out between them.

Then I watched the Alan Carr show where he plays old games. They played Strike it Lucky and I knew a lot of the answers. There was a funny bit where a guy and his dad had to pick which boxes to go with and out of the four times they got the hot spot which sent them home. 

Two women got to the final, but they got too many hot spots to win.

After that I went for a shower. When I came down I watched The Sopranos and it was Christmas, Tony was remembering back to when Pussy was alive and he was always the Santa. They were trying to find someone to replace him and everyone looked at Tony but he wouldn't do it. Bobby walked in and they all told him to go it, but he was pretty awful, he seemed very grumpy around the kids. 

Paulie and Chris had to get money from a Russian guy and he said something that angered Paulie and they all got into a fight. They put the Russian guy in the boot and talked about what to do, Chris wanted to dump the body in the night but Paulie said to do it now and bury him in the woods. Chris was also hungry and he wanted to get food first,but they went to the woods.

The guy was still alive when they opened the boot and they got him out and walked him into the middle of the woods. They gave him a shovel to dig his own grave, but he used it to attack them and he ran away.

They ran after him and shot at him, Paulie got him in the head and they followed the blood but it stopped. I think the guy probably climbed a tree but they didn't look up.

Paulie and Chris continued walking, looking for the guy and they ended up getting lost and Paulie's shoe fell off. It was very tense. They found a van so they stayed in that overnight and Chris was talking about leaving Paulie and at one point he pulled out his gun. Thankfully they both survived the night and Tony went with Bobby and found them. 

The car that they drove to the woods was missing, I think the Russian man used it to get away.

Meadow was sick and she was playing scrabble with Jackie, he put down the word ass and implied that he wanted to have sex with her. I thought it was pretty gross because she seemed to have the flu, it really did seem like he only wanted her for sex. 

He left her alone when she rejected him and he said he'd call the next day but he didn't, he pretty much ignored Meadow. She thought he was cheating on her, so she got her friend and they went and found him and confronted him. She finally broke up with him, I'm glad because she deserves someone so much better.

Jackie went to a poker game and he shot one of Tony's men dead and Furio was shot in his thigh. They killed most of Jackie's guys and they knew it was him who'd attacked and tried to take their money. Tony told Ralph to decide what to do.

Gloria met Carmela and she was being friendly towards her and gave her a lift home. Tony found out about it and he wasn't happy, Melfi even compared Gloria to his mother. He attacked Gloria and he nearly strangled her to death and she was telling him to kill her, she really is crazy. I really hope she won't hurt Tony or his family, I'd be worried she might kidnap someone or something.

Jackie was hiding with a black guy because he thought that was the last place anyone would think he was. There was a really cute daughter and she was trying to teach Jackie how to play chess but he kept losing. I'm really surprised he was at university, he didn't seem very smart throughout the series. 

Ralph had a man watching Jackie and as soon as he left the house the man shot him. I didn't really care because Jackie was an awful boyfriend and he was an idiot for shooting and looting Tony's men. 

They had a funeral for him and Meadow was really upset and after the funeral she started staying in bed all day, I feel really sorry for her. I hope she'll get a good boyfriend soon cause the first two were rubbish.
