Coronavirus Diary

Day 133 28th July 2020

There's 5,921 cases in Northern Ireland, 300,692 in the UK and 25,929 in Ireland. The new cases are in single digits for Northern Ireland which is pretty good, but it used to only be 1-3 news cases a day and it's gone up to 9.

I saw an article that said tall people are more at risk of catching the virus, I think it's because they're closer to air vents or something. It's good for me because I'm only 5'1  so I'm pretty short, but I feel sorry for the tall people now.

When I got up I watched Malibu Rescue and the rich guy became the captain. He gave tower 2 pier duty and they thought it was great, although they caught a guy around their tower and told the captain.

Gina went to talk to the captain because she'd seen him talking to the shady guy. He bribed her with calling a swimming place for a recommendation for her and she had to keep everyone away from the tower.

She kept them away and they missed a rescue and Logan had to save the person instead, she saved the shady guy from earlier.

The Flounders were kicked out of the program because they missed the rescue, but they knew it was suspicious, so they went to the rich guy's house. They found a room where he had loads of information on them and it was pretty creepy.

They were caught and locked in the room, but they got out and they knew the rich guy was going to put a bomb in one of the towers. They had to look through all the towers for the bomb and it ended up going off. 

Everyone found out that the rich man had caused the explosion and he was arrested. Tyler's dad was brought in to be the new captain, I'd say he'll be better than the previous two.

Then I watched a few Impractical Jokers and they had unseen clips which were good. There was also a Father's Day special and it showed challenges with their dads in it and there was a really funny bit where Q was in a wedding dress getting married to Sal's dad.

They also showed a bit where it was an unaired pilot and Sal was getting a suit tailored by one of the dads and he was saying he was getting an erection, it must've been do awkward. Unfortunately they didn't show much of the unaired episode, just a snippet.

Then it was back to the normal episodes and Murr lost. He had to give a presentation to university students and it was about social media, he talked a whole load of nonsense and it was pretty funny.

I went for a shower and then watched Ronin when I got downstairs. It's a movie with Robert De Niro, Stellan Skarsgard, Jonathan Pryce, Sean Bean and Natascha McElhone.

They were trying to steal a box and they'd get paid for stealing it. I loved the movie, but there were a few unanswered questions and I found the Irish accents a bit weird.

After that I watched Money Heist. Raquel and Angel were suspicious of each other because the professor had got medical records before them and they were the only two who knew about it.

Angel was angry and he got drunk and kept calling Raquel and leaving messages on her phone, because he was drunk and distracted he crashed the car. Before he crashed he left a message in the phone at Raquel's house, telling her that Salva was the professor.

At the time she was out on a date with the professor and she'd pulled her gun on him because Angel had made her suspicious of him. She went to his warehouse and it was all done up so that she wouldn't be suspicious and she ended up feeling bad for doubting him. They kissed and had sex and I'm glad they got together.

Denver brought food for Monica and she kissed him, I thought it was great because I wanted them to get together for a while. They seem really cute together.

Arturo planned an escape and 16 of them were waiting on him, but he'd gone to get Monica. It was kinda funny because he found Denver and Monica having sex. Denver and Arturo got into a fight and Denver was stabbed in the back with scissors, I couldn't believe it happened.

The others left without Arturo and they blew a hole at one of the entrances and got out.

Then everyone had to deal with it and the police were shooting at them, it was very tense but thankfully they covered the hole.

Denver was annoyed with the professor because he hadn't been there when they needed him, he'd been on a date with Raquel.

Rio got a message from his parents in the chip thing that had been taken from Raquel and he got in contact with her. She was offering him a better jail sentence, but he didn't take the offer.

The group wanted the hostages on their side and the professor had talked to them about it before they went in. They offered the hostages 1 million or freedom, the 1 million would be posted to them months after the robbery. 

I was surprised when so many picked freedom, I definitely would've picked the money. They weren't actually letting the hostages go, they were just being taken to another part to be separated because they didn't want the hostages planning another escape together.

Arturo and the teacher stayed behind and I think they're the ones who are most likely to plan an escape and cause trouble. They should be separated from the others.

Oslo, Helsinki's cousin has brain damage because when the hostages were escaping they whacked him over the head. He won't recover and he'll probably die soon, it's unfortunate.

Raquel's mum called the professor and told him the message that Angel had left on the phone, so he decided to kill her. He went to her house and she made him a cup of tea and he put poison in hers, which would make it seem like she'd had a heart attack. Thankfully just as she was about to drink he hit it out of her hands and because of whatever memory problem she has, she thought she'd split the tea.

Then the professor found the post-it note that the mum had left for herself and he took it and then deleted Angel's message, I'm glad he didn't kill the woman.

Then Raquel got home and they spent some time together. She got a call about a place where the robbers had been training and she got the professor to drive her there.

She went in with others and there was still food and drink there, which they could get DNA from. Then they went upstairs and there was plans for the whole robbery, I can't believe all their plans were left there. It'll be awful if Raquel finds out that Salva is really the professor and their plans could be completely ruined.
