Coronavirus Diary

Day 164 28th August 2020

There's 7,049 cases in Northern Ireland, 331,644 in the UK and 28,578 in Ireland. It's bad that there's still so many new cases and deaths, I want it to be over.

When I got up I watched Brain Games and they showed really cool illusions, like a white block and grey block being the same colour. I didn't really understand how some of the things worked, but they were interesting.

Then I watched Lizzie McGuire and she was talking about Kate with Miranda and made a joke about her boobs, the message accidentally got sent to their classmates. 

Kate was annoyed about it and she confronted Lizzie and Miranda. Lizzie panicked, so Miranda said that she was the one who said it. 

Miranda and Kate started getting back at each other, it was pretty funny, but Lizzie felt bad, so she told Kate that she was the one who said it. Then Kate did a cheer, calling Lizzie ugly and a loser.

Matt had a lizard which he called Lizzie and he left for school and got his parents to look after it, but they forgot to change the water and it wasn't moving, so they thought it was dead. Matt found out and they buried the lizard, but then the dad read about lizards going into hibernation, so they dug it up, but this time it really was dead.

There was a picture day at school and Lizzie was trying to decide what to wear, so she called Miranda about it. Matt was annoyed that she was taking so much time on the phone, so he shouted about what Lizzie was going to wear. Her parents made her wear a horrible unicorn jumper that her granny had made.

Lizzie wore it to school, but she wanted a different outfit. Gordon said she shouldn't care how the photo turned out, but she told him how important it was.

Miranda was in the same outfit as Kate, who wasn't happy about it.

Gordo found different tops for Lizzie from the drama department and she picked the white one. Then they were in art class and Kate got a guy to spill paint on Miranda, but Lizzie jumped in front of her.

Lizzie took her photo with the paint on her and she held the jumper in the photo. Gordo was told by Ethan not to smile and he ended up listening, probably because of what Lizzie said about fitting in. Miranda took a good picture.

After that I went to work which was pretty tiring. I also found out that my manager is leaving, which isn't good because he was great. I hope the next manager will be as good and not like a strict manager I had in the past.

When I got home I watched the end of Lizzie McGuire because I'd only watched part of the episode. Then i went for a shower.

After that I watched Backdraft which is a movie with Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Robert De Niro and Donald Sutherland in it.

Steve was the older brother and Brian was the younger brother, who'd seen his father die in fire when he was on duty. The father and Steve were firefighters and Brian became one and his brother got him transferred to the same station.

There were the same kind of fires going on and Donald was being pressured by the alderman to figure out who was causing the fires.

I really enjoyed the movie, although it wasn't as good as Chicago Fire. It was pretty tense as well.

After that I watched Condor and the hunters arrived, Joe hid with Vasili in the bushes and it was hideous, the dogs were out. Vasili left Joe and the dog nearly found Joe, until Vasili shot the hunters. 

They went to a motel and hid there. Joe called Tracey because he trusted him, but he didn't give their location away because Vasili only trusted Joe.

Volk knew someone was working with Vasili, so he got Kat and another woman in for dinner, but he poisoned the woman's drink and she died.
