Day 74 30th May 2020

There's 4,709 cases in Northern Ireland, 272,826 in the UK and 24,929 in Ireland. The number of cases are still lowering so that's good.

I heard about the guy who was killed in America by the police. The police officer kneeled on the man's neck even though he was handcuffed! It's ridiculous! There's far too many racist cops in America, they need to be fired and put in jail. I really hope that any police officer who's racist goes to jail and gets beat up. I hate any kind of discrimination or hate crime, they need to stop!

People are protesting as well and I saw places being burned. I understand why they're doing it and I really hope they go after racist people and not innocent people.

My dad told me about three people who jumped off a cliff into the sea in England. They were up at about 200ft and they jumped off. It's so stupid! I'm pretty sure even cliff divers don't go that high. They shouldn't have been jumping in the first place, but it's even worse given the pandemic. People are meant to be sensible and try not to get injured, those people are idiots!

When I got up I watched The Best of Borat. It's a show where Borat goes to England, I thought it was great but not long enough. There was a funny bit where he was having dinner with posh people and he went to the toilet for a while, when he came back he told them he'd had a shit. It was really funny. Although I can't believe I didn't know about this show until now, I've seen the movie loads of times.

Then I watched a few episodes of Spongebob and they had a Christmas special. It was the first Christmas in Bikini Bottom and they all wrote letters to Santa. Unfortunately Santa didn't come, so Squidward pretended to be Santa to make Spongebob happy. I thought it was really sweet. Then Squidward had to give presents to everyone and he didn't have anything left in his house.

In another episode Squidward got fed up with Spongebob and Patrick so he moved house. He got to a place where everyone was like him and he enjoyed it for a while, but then he got bored if it. Spongebob and Patrick went to get him back and he'd gone mad having fun with a reef blower. Spongebob and Patrick saw Squidward but they thought it couldn't be him, it was pretty funny.

After that I had a shower and because it's so warm at the moment I had the water barely warm at all. When I came downstairs I watched Donnie Brasco, which is a movie with Johnny Depp and Al Pacino in it.

Johnny Depp was with the FBI and he went undercover and joined the mafia. He became friendly with Al Pacino and he became a respected member of the group. I really enjoyed the movie.

Then I watched Britain's Got Talent and there was a really weird act on from Ireland. It was a man and a woman and they put clay or something on their faces and did a dance. Somehow they got through.

There was a really good magician on and he got them all to put numbers into a calculator. He got David to put in his own number as well, which he couldn't have known. The sum came out to 71,059 and the phone became metal. It turned out that the sum created Simon's birthday, the 7th October 1959. I thought it was really good, but my dad said he probably had the calculator set so that the number would come out as Simon's birthday, no matter what numbers were put in.

There was a guy on who jumped and did flips through hoops. I thought it was very impressive, even though he made the hoops fall when they got higher. There was a tense bit where he got David to hold the hoop up above his head, thankfully the guy jumped through the hoop safely.

That's all for today, I hope you're all safe and well.
