The UK now has 5,000 cases, Ireland has nearly 700 and in Northern Ireland there's just over a hundred. It's pretty worrying how many cases there are and I know it'll just keep increasing. A lot of places have been closed and it could last longer than a year, which isn't ideal. I even heard that Bondi beach is closed because too many people were going there, although that's in Australia so it doesn't really have an impact on me.
My family and I are staying in our house as much as we can. I don't mind it but my parents don't like it and they're sometimes more grumpy so then we get annoyed with each other. And I found out that home deliveries are booked up for the next two weeks, so we probably won't be using the home delivery.
We Skyped my sister today and she's not going out much because of the lockdown but she's doing things with the people she lives with, so it isn't awful for her. She was complaining about how loads of people are still going out, but thankfully the people who she lives with are taking it seriously and staying inside.
After talking to my sister I had breakfast, watched Bondi Rescue and then I finished the coursework for one of my modules and uploaded it. Then I had a shower and after that I watched Richard Osman's House of Games, Gogglebox, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, First Dates and A Question of Sport. Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway was a bit weird because there was no audience, but it was still fun watching it. I thought the part where they pranked Bradley Walsh was great and the end of the show, show was good as well. But it definitely wasn't the same without the audience and I've heard that next week it isn't even live, so that'll be strange as well.
That's all for today, I won't be going out again until next Thursday or Friday. And tomorrow is Mother's Day, thankfully I got presents for my mum yesterday when I was at the charity shop. Bye, stay safe everyone.
