There are 3,122 cases in Northern Ireland, 143,000 in the UK and 18,184 in Ireland. I've heard that more people in Northern Ireland are going out and ignoring the social distancing rules so that isn't good.
I got up and watched an episode of Young Sheldon and the librarian from Sheldon's school went to a football game. One of the players was running at Sheldon's dad and he jumped out of the way and the woman was tackled instead. It was pretty funny. The dad felt really bad, so they let the woman stay with them. At the end of the episode the dad was on the news for jumping out of the way.
Then I went out to the chemist and local shop with my mum. It was really bad because I had been reversing into a space and some idiot started driving into my space when I'd already been reversing! Then the space was too small so the guy had to drive away anyway. I was parked on double yellow lines as well, so I wasn't meant to be parked there. I honestly think some drivers are awful, they shouldn't be allowed on the road.
When I got home I watched You've Been Framed and it was pretty funny. There was someone on a trampoline sitting on an exercise ball and because there was so much bouncing going on the person on the ball flew up into the air. They were lucky their trampoline had a net, they landed at the top of it. But if it hadn't been there they would've gone flying and hit the ground.
Then I watched House of Games and went on Reddit.
After that I watched Bridge of Spies which is a movie with Tom Hanks in it. There was a Russian prisoner and Tom was his lawyer but they lost the case. An American pilot was spying on Germany/Russia and missiles hit his plane but he survived so he was caught by the Soviets. There was also an American student who'd been put in jail in Germany.
Tom went to Germany to make a deal with the Germans and Russians to get the pilot back, but he also heard about the student so he wanted to get him as well. And they would hand over the Russian spy.
I won't say anymore because that would spoil it. The movie was based on a true story as well so that made it more interesting. I thought the movie was pretty good, but the second half is definitely better than the first.
Then I watched three episodes of Grey's Anatomy and I'm finally on the new season! The hospital found out that Meredith had committed fraud and DeLuca took the blame for her and he went to jail. Richard and Alex told Bailey that they'd done it as well and she fired them. I was shocked! I hadn't remembered that they'd all been fired.
In the episode of the new season Meredith admitted that it was her who'd committed the fraud and DeLuca got out of prison and he's back working at the hospital. Richard and Catherine aren't talking because he was fired and he doesn't like Bailey either which is quite sad but understandable.
The kid who needed the blood got it, so hopefully he'll get better and he'll be able to have the surgery.
Jo told Meredith why she was depressed and she was admitted to the psychiatric ward. But in the episode of the new season she went to a nicer place and at the end of the episode she got out. I hope she'll be happier and have a good life with Alex because they both deserve it and I love them.
Maggie and Jackson broke up which is quite disappointing, I love both of their characters and I was hoping that they could work through their issues. And Jackson seems like he's going to start dating Vic. I'm not sure how I feel about that because Vic's boyfriend just died and Jackson just broke up with Maggie.
Alex and Richard were fired so they both got jobs at a hospital that's meant to be really bad so it'll be interesting to see how that goes.
Teddy had her baby and she picked Owen over Koracick, I was disappointed because I think Koracick seems like a much better partner than Owen. But he said that he'll wait for her so they might end up together.
There was a really funny bit in the new episode where Owen said that he offered to milk Teddy. It made me laugh so much!
I went to bed but went back downstairs to watch After. It's a movie with Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin in it and I thought Josephine looked really similar to Katherine Langford and she's actually her younger sister. Hero is Ralph Fiennes' (Voldemort) nephew and he played one of the young Tom Riddle's in a Harry Potter movie.
Anyway the movie was about a girl called Tessa who went to university and she had a boyfriend called Noah. Her mother and boyfriend didn't want her going out partying. She met a guy called Hardin who seemed kinda creepy to me. When they first met she was in a towel after getting out of the shower and he didn't leave the room when she asked him to.
At the party she was dared to kiss him but she didn't. Then she went to his room and the way he was standing so close to her made me a bit uncomfortable.
He was also in one of her lectures and they were talking about Pride and Prejudice and they were having a disagreement about it. Hardin said that love is only a transaction, which I didn't agree with and I thought it made him quite unlikeable.
At one point in the movie he asked her to go somewhere with him and he takes her off on this drive into the woods, with no one else around. If I was her I would've been pretty scared, he literally could've murdered her! Thankfully he didn't, they went into a lake and swam around and she asked who he loved the most and he said himself. That honestly seems very narcissistic to me. Then they kissed, she literally cheated on her boyfriend!
Noah visited her and he ended up finding out that she'd cheated on him so they broke up. Hardin had attacked one of his friends because he was going to kiss Tessa and then he trashed part of his house. If I was Tessa I'd be extremely worried, he freaked out over something pretty minor and if he could trash his house so easily then he could become violent towards her.
Then near the end of the movie Tessa found out that Hardin had made a dare that he could get her to fall in love with him or something like that. All her supposed friends knew about it as well.
The end felt quite abrupt as well, although I know there's a sequel which I'll watch when it's out.
The relationship felt very rushed and other than Hardin's good looks I couldn't really see why Tessa would want to date him. I know it's based on a book so they probably skipped a lot of important scenes. Maybe if I read the book I would like the movie more.
If I was Tessa I'd definitely want to date Landon, he seemed pretty friendly and he was good looking. Noah seemed kinda controlling because he kept texting her saying she shouldn't be going to the party. And Hardin was too brooding and he seemed a bit problematic. Maybe I'm being too hard on him though, his accent is a lot like my ex who I hate and the way he said some of the things was similar as well. So that could be effecting my opinion of him.
Overall I thought the movie was quite rushed with not a lot of character development. There didn't seem to be much of a plot either but all of this may be helped with reading the story. I thought the movie was alright, it wasn't the worst I've seen and nowhere near the best.
That's it for today, I hope you're all healthy.
