Coronavirus Diary

Day 14 31st March 2020

There are 586 cases in Northern Ireland, 25,150 in the UK and 3,235 in Ireland. I heard that a 13 year old died which is very sad because they were so young.

I got up and watched Bondi Rescue which I enjoyed. Then I drove my mum to our local shop and we were a bit worried that the police would be in the area. But thankfully they weren't.

When I got home I helped my mum with the rest of the interview transcript and I did some more of my jigsaw. Then I went into the living room and I watched The Walking Dead. I'm so happy that Alpha is finally dead but they need to kill Beta as well. I really think he'll take over the heard now. And I feel sorry for Ezekiel because he's sick and his horse got bit. Although I felt like I jinxed it because I was wondering what would happen if a horse got bit by a zombie but wasn't eaten. 

After that I watched House of Games and then G.I. Joe Retaliation. I'd watched it 2 years ago but my dad didn't remember watching it and I was happy enough to watch it again. But halfway through the movie it stopped, we'd recorded it on the TV and because we don't have the internet we couldn't get it anywhere else.

So then we watched Shot Caller, which has Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones in it. And also Shane from The Walking Dead. Jaime ended up going to jail because he caused a car crash and he when he was in jail he got involved with a gang. The film had time changes, so some of it was the present and other parts were flashbacks. I really enjoyed the movie but I was a bit disappointed with the end.

Then I watched A Question of Sport. For the last few hours I've been playing a really addictive game where you have to throw a ball at squares and the number on the squares keep going up. I played that because it didn't require the internet and I'm trying to save my mobile data.

They've said the internet should be on by Sunday but I don't believe them. They're so incompetent and loads of countries are in lockdown so I don't think it'll be fixed soon. It's the most annoying thing ever, especially when I have work for uni to do. And I can't go to the library or anything. The people who turned it off are idiots and they deserve their internet to be turned off on them. And I wish them slow internet for the rest of their lives. Everything is stressful enough, but it's worse now that I don't have the internet, I really hope it does come back on Sunday.

It's even making my mum really stressed, she's worried about me not getting my coursework done. And I have an online exam in May that I need to do as well. So I need the internet back on otherwise I won't be able to do any of it.
