Coronavirus Diary

Day 88 13th June 2020

There are now 4,841 cases in Northern Ireland, 294,375 in the UK and 25,295 in Ireland. There hasn't been too .any deaths or new infections in Northern Ireland lately so that's good. I hope it will stay like that.

I watched Alex Rider when I got up and he had to live with rich people so that his background story was solid for going to Point Blanc. The daughter and her friends were crazy! They invited Alex out for a walk and then they said they'd go hunting, he went to meet them and they started shooting at him! I couldn't believe it. He ran and hid and it reminded me of Peeta hiding in The Hunger Games. He then went and talked to them and said he knew what they were up to.

Alex got taken to Point Blanc and he's in a class with about five other people. It seems very strict and strange there. There's a girl there and they were all watching a movie, she went and sat beside Alex and she started asking really weird questions like whether he thought she was pretty or not. It's not really a weird question, but more the way she asked it and the way she was acting. Alex is interested in a girl at his school and this girl kissed him forcefully! It was so weird!

After that I watched The Office and Ryan came back and was talking about updating their website and using more technology. Michael didn't want to do that, so he made gift baskets to try to get back old clients. The gift baskets didn't persuade any of them to go back to the company. 

There was a really funny bit where Michael and Dwight were going to a country club and Michael was using a Satnav to get there. It said to turn right and Michael listened to it, even though Dwight was saying it was further up, Michael turned and drove straight into a lake. It was so funny! 

I remember once my dad got a temporary car because his had broken down or something and the new car had a Satnav. My dad wanted to see how well it worked so he set it to go to a petrol station that we knew and the Satnav said to turn way after we'd passed the station.

They got out safely but Dwight could barely swim and Michael had to help him, but I'm pretty sure the water wasn't very deep.

Angela broke up with Dwight because he killed her cat and any time she sees him it reminds her of the cat being in the fridge. I really can't believe he killed her cat, it's horrible.

Then I watched The Masked Singer USA, unfortunately I couldn't find season 1 so it's on season 2. If you've seen the whole show please don't spoil it. 

I loved watching the UK version and I really like the American one as well. I thought they were all pretty good at singing, but The Egg and The Ice Cream were sent home, The Egg was an ice skater who I'd seen on Lip Sync Battle once and the Ice Cream was some YouTuber who I'd never heard of.

So far I think The Butterfly could be Cara Delevingne, Thingamajig could be Usain Bolt or a basketball player, The Skeleton may be Carlton from The Fresh Prince but I think The Skeleton sounds older. My dad is convinced that The Ladybird is Kelly Osbourne and that's who I think it could be as well. I'd say my predictions are probably wrong but I like trying to guess anyway.

After that I watched Angel Has Fallen which is a movie with Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Lance Reddick and Danny Houston in it. Gerard was in the secret service and Morgan was the president. They were out fishing and drones started dropping and exploding and the president was nearly killed but Gerard saved him. They were the only two who survived so everyone thought that Gerard had tried to kill the president.

I won't say more in case I spoil the movie, I thought it was pretty good.

Then I watched The Sopranos and Anthony was driving a car and he knocked into a truck and the wing mirror was hanging off. His parents found out and Anthony was questioning the point of life and Tony wasn't happy about it. 

Anthony had his confirmation, which is a religious thing for Catholics where they take the name of a saint and accept God into their life. I think it's something like that, but I can't remember exactly. Anyway, they had a party for him and he was caught smoking in the garage and he went up to his room.

Pussy went to talk to him and he was wearing a wire. Pussy talked about how good Tony was and then he went into the bathroom and started crying, he really needs to get rid of the wire and not be an informant.

Chris got to go to the set of a movie and he became friendly with a woman and got to meet Jon Favreau. He went and got pizza with them, it made me really want to have pizza again. He was telling them a story about how one of his friends found a woman attractive but when he found out she had a penis he burned her. It sounded awful and I couldn't believe someone would do that.

Chris gave his script to Jon and the woman and they said they'd look at it. They had a look and I think they saw potential but didn't want to make it into a movie. Chris also got together with the woman and I thought it was very bad that he was cheating on Adriana, she's far too good for him.

Tony was a bit annoyed with Chris because he was distracted a lot, so he said that Chris could either leave and be gone forever or stay. Chris stayed.

Chris felt more loyal and better because he decided to stay and he went and proposed to Adriana. She said yes, which is good for Chris, but I really think she deserves someone better than him. She does so much for him and doesn't get much in return.

Sean and Matt who work for Chris robbed a place with him and they had to give some of the money to the people higher up. Furio went to collect the money and he took more than they were expecting, so they were quite annoyed. They wanted to be in a better position in the mob and they thought they could do that. Sean and Matt found Chris and shot him multiple times! I was shocked and horrified, I couldn't believe they would do that to the guy who was helping them.

Matt was killed by Chris and Sean ran away. He told Richie what he'd done for him, but Richie wasn't impressed and seemed pretty angry. 

At the end Chris was unconscious in the hospital so I really hope he'll be alright. At least he isn't dead, like I thought he'd be.
